1 Kings 14

1 At that time Abijah son of Jeroboam became ill,

1 那时，耶罗波安的儿子亚比雅病了，

2 and Jeroboam said to his wife, “Now get up, disguise yourself so they will not recognize you as my wife, and go to Shiloh. For Ahijah the prophet is there; it was he who spoke about my kingship over this people.

2 耶罗波安就吩咐妻子：“你乔装改扮使人认不出你是我妻子，然后去示罗找那位预言我做王的先知亚希雅。

3 Take with you ten loaves of bread, some cakes, and a jar of honey, and go to him. He will tell you what will become of the boy.”

3 你要带十个饼、一些薄饼和一瓶蜂蜜去，他将告诉你孩子的病情会怎样。”

4 Jeroboam’s wife did as instructed; she arose and went to Shiloh and arrived at Ahijah’s house. Now Ahijah could not see, for his eyes were dim because of his age.

4 耶罗波安的妻子就照他的话做，前往示罗，来到亚希雅家。那时亚希雅因年纪老迈，眼睛已失明。

5 But the LORD had said to Ahijah, “Behold, the wife of Jeroboam is coming to ask you about her son, for he is ill. You are to say such and such to her, because when she arrives, she will be disguised.”

5 耶和华预先告诉亚希雅说：“耶罗波安的妻子会乔装成别的妇人，前来问你有关她儿子的病情，你要如此如此回答她。”

6 So when Ahijah heard the sound of her feet entering the door, he said, “Come in, wife of Jeroboam! Why are you disguised? For I have been sent to you with bad news.

6 她刚进门，亚希雅听见她的脚步声就说：“耶罗波安的妻子啊，你进来吧，为什么乔装改扮呢？我奉命告诉你一个噩耗。

7 Go, tell Jeroboam that this is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says: ‘I raised you up from among the people and appointed you ruler over My people Israel.

7 你回去告诉耶罗波安，‘以色列的上帝耶和华说，我从百姓中提升你，立你做我以色列子民的王。

8 I tore the kingdom away from the house of David and gave it to you. But you have not been like My servant David, who kept My commandments and followed Me with all his heart, doing only what was right in My eyes.

8 我把国从大卫家撕开赐给你，你却没有像我仆人大卫那样遵守我的诫命，全心听从我，做我视为正的事，

9 You have done more evil than all who came before you. You have proceeded to make for yourself other gods and molten images to provoke Me, and you have flung Me behind your back.

9 反而比前人行恶更甚，为自己设立其他神明，铸造神像，惹我发怒，把我抛在脑后。

10 Because of all this, behold, I am bringing disaster on the house of Jeroboam: I will cut off from Jeroboam every male, both slave and free, in Israel; I will burn up the house of Jeroboam as one burns up dung until it is gone!

10 所以，我要降祸给耶罗波安家，从以色列铲除耶罗波安家所有的男子，不论是奴隶还是自由人。我要像清除粪便一样，把耶罗波安家焚烧净尽。

11 Anyone belonging to Jeroboam who dies in the city will be eaten by dogs, and anyone who dies in the field will be eaten by the birds of the air.’ For the LORD has spoken.

11 耶罗波安家人中，死在城中的必被狗吃，死在田野的必被鸟吃。这是耶和华说的。’

12 As for you, get up and go home. When your feet enter the city, the child will die.

12 “现在你回家去吧，你一进城，孩子就会死。

13 All Israel will mourn for him and bury him. For this is the only one belonging to Jeroboam who will receive a proper burial, because only in him has the LORD, the God of Israel, found any good in the house of Jeroboam.

13 全以色列会为他哀悼，把他埋葬。耶罗波安家人中只有他将得到安葬，因为以色列的上帝耶和华只在他身上看见了良善。

14 Moreover, the LORD will raise up for Himself a king over Israel who will cut off the house of Jeroboam. This is the day—yes, even today!

14 耶和华必为自己立一位君王统治以色列，他必铲除耶罗波安家。现在就是时候了。

15 For the LORD will strike Israel as a reed is shaken in the water. He will uproot Israel from this good land that He gave their fathers, and He will scatter them beyond the Euphrates, because they have made their Asherah poles, provoking the LORD to anger.

15 耶和华将击打以色列人，使他们像水中的芦苇一样颤抖不已。耶和华将把以色列人从祂赐给他们祖先的佳美之地连根拔起，抛散到幼发拉底河的彼岸，这都是因为他们制造亚舍拉神像，惹耶和华发怒。

16 So He will give Israel over on account of the sins Jeroboam has committed and has caused Israel to commit.”

16 因为耶罗波安犯罪作孽，使以色列人陷入罪中，耶和华必抛弃以色列。”

17 Then Jeroboam’s wife got up and departed for Tirzah, and as soon as she stepped over the threshold of the house, the boy died.

17 耶罗波安的妻子动身回到得撒，刚迈过家门槛，孩子就死了。

18 And they buried him, and all Israel mourned for him, according to the word that the LORD had spoken through His servant Ahijah the prophet.

18 以色列人埋葬了他，为他哀悼，正应验了耶和华借祂仆人亚希雅先知说的话。

19 As for the rest of the acts of Jeroboam, how he waged war and how he reigned, they are indeed written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel.

19 耶罗波安其他的事，不论文治武功，都记在《以色列列王史》上。

20 And the length of Jeroboam’s reign was twenty-two years, and he rested with his fathers, and his son Nadab reigned in his place.

20 他做王二十二年，然后与祖先同眠。他儿子拿答继位。

21 Meanwhile, Rehoboam son of Solomon reigned in Judah. He was forty-one years old when he became king, and he reigned seventeen years in Jerusalem, the city the LORD had chosen from all the tribes of Israel in which to put His Name. His mother’s name was Naamah the Ammonite.

21 所罗门的儿子罗波安做犹大王。他四十一岁登基，在耶和华从以色列各支派中选来立祂名的耶路撒冷城执政十七年。罗波安的母亲是亚扪人拿玛。

22 And Judah did evil in the sight of the LORD, and by the sins they committed they provoked Him to jealous anger more than all their fathers had done.

22 犹大人做耶和华视为恶的事，他们的罪行比他们祖先所做的更惹耶和华发义怒。

23 They also built for themselves high places, sacred pillars, and Asherah poles on every high hill and under every green tree.

23 他们在各高岗上和绿树下为自己建造丘坛，竖立神柱和亚舍拉神像，

24 There were even male shrine prostitutes in the land. They imitated all the abominations of the nations the LORD had driven out before the Israelites.

24 国中甚至男庙妓充斥。犹大人仿效耶和华在以色列人面前赶走的外族人，行各种可憎之事。

25 In the fifth year of Rehoboam’s reign, Shishak king of Egypt attacked Jerusalem.

25 罗波安王执政第五年，埃及王示撒上来攻打耶路撒冷，

26 He seized the treasures of the house of the LORD and of the royal palace. He took everything, including all the gold shields that Solomon had made.

26 把耶和华殿里和王宫里的财宝掳掠一空，包括所罗门制造的所有金盾牌。

27 Then King Rehoboam made bronze shields in their place and committed them to the care of the captains of the guard on duty at the entrance to the royal palace.

27 罗波安王就造了铜盾牌代替那些金盾牌，交给看守宫门的护卫长看管。

28 And whenever the king entered the house of the LORD, the guards would bear the shields, and later they would return them to the guardroom.

28 每次王进耶和华的殿，护卫就带上盾牌，用完后放回护卫房。

29 As for the rest of the acts of Rehoboam, along with all that he did, are they not written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Judah?

29 罗波安其他的事及一切所为都记在《犹大列王史》上。

30 There was war between Rehoboam and Jeroboam throughout their days.

30 罗波安和耶罗波安之间常有争战。

31 And Rehoboam rested with his fathers and was buried with them in the City of David; his mother’s name was Naamah the Ammonite. And his son Abijam reigned in his place.

31 罗波安与祖先同眠后，葬在大卫城的祖坟里。他母亲是亚扪人拿玛。他儿子亚比央继位。
