2 Chronicles 22

1 Then the people of Jerusalem made Ahaziah, the youngest son of Jehoram, king in his place, since the raiders who had come into the camp with the Arabs had killed all the older sons. So Ahaziah son of Jehoram became king of Judah.

1 耶路撒冷的居民拥立约兰的小儿子亚哈谢 为王。因为约兰的其他儿子都被那些与阿拉伯人同来攻营的匪徒杀了，于是犹大王约兰的儿子亚哈谢做了王。

2 Ahaziah was twenty-two years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem one year. His mother’s name was Athaliah, the granddaughter of Omri.

2 亚哈谢二十二岁 登基，在耶路撒冷执政一年。他母亲叫亚她利雅，是暗利的孙女。

3 Ahaziah also walked in the ways of the house of Ahab, for his mother was his counselor in wickedness.

3 他步亚哈家的后尘，因为他母亲唆使他作恶。

4 And he did evil in the sight of the LORD, as the house of Ahab had done, for to his destruction they were his counselors after the death of his father.

4 他像亚哈家一样做耶和华视为恶的事，因为他父亲死后，亚哈家便唆使他作恶，使他走向灭亡。

5 Ahaziah also followed their counsel and went with Joram son of Ahab king of Israel to fight against Hazael king of Aram at Ramoth-gilead. But the Arameans wounded Joram.

5 他照亚哈家的主意，与以色列王亚哈的儿子约兰一起去基列的拉末与亚兰王哈薛交战。亚兰人击伤约兰，

6 So he returned to Jezreel to recover from the wounds they had inflicted on him at Ramah when he fought against Hazael king of Aram. Then Ahaziah son of Jehoram king of Judah went down to Jezreel to visit Joram son of Ahab, because Joram had been wounded.

6 约兰便回到耶斯列养伤。约兰的儿子犹大王亚哈谢 下到耶斯列探望他，因为他病了。

7 Ahaziah’s downfall came from God when he went to visit Joram. When Ahaziah arrived, he went out with Joram to meet Jehu son of Nimshi, whom the LORD had anointed to destroy the house of Ahab.

7 亚哈谢去见约兰，遇害身亡，这事出于上帝。原来他到那里后便与约兰去攻击宁示的孙子耶户。耶户是耶和华膏立去毁灭亚哈家的人。

8 So while Jehu was executing judgment on the house of Ahab, he found the rulers of Judah and the sons of Ahaziah’s brothers who were serving Ahaziah, and he killed them.

8 耶户讨伐亚哈家的时候，遇见犹大众首领和亚哈谢的众侄儿，他们都是服侍亚哈谢的，耶户就把他们全部杀掉。

9 Then Jehu looked for Ahaziah, and Jehu’s soldiers captured him while he was hiding in Samaria. So Ahaziah was brought to Jehu and put to death. They buried him, for they said, “He is the grandson of Jehoshaphat, who sought the LORD with all his heart.” So no one was left from the house of Ahaziah with the strength to rule the kingdom.

9 然后耶户搜捕亚哈谢，民众找到躲在撒玛利亚的亚哈谢，把他押到耶户那里杀了。他们念他是全心寻求耶和华的约沙法的孙子，就把他埋葬了。这样，亚哈谢家无人能保住王位。

10 When Athaliah the mother of Ahaziah saw that her son was dead, she proceeded to annihilate all the royal heirs of the house of Judah.

10 亚哈谢的母亲亚她利雅见儿子死了，便动手除掉整个犹大王室。

11 But Jehoshabeath daughter of King Jehoram took Joash son of Ahaziah and stole him away from among the sons of the king who were being murdered, and she put him and his nurse in a bedroom. Because Jehoshabeath, the daughter of King Jehoram and the wife of Jehoiada the priest, was Ahaziah’s sister, she hid Joash from Athaliah so that she could not kill him.

11 但约兰王的女儿、亚哈谢的妹妹约示巴把亚哈谢的儿子约阿施从将要被杀的王子中偷出来，把他和他的乳母藏在一间卧室里，才躲过亚她利雅的杀戮。约示巴是耶何耶大祭司的妻子。

12 And Joash remained hidden with them in the house of God for six years while Athaliah ruled the land.

12 约阿施和他们在上帝的殿里藏了六年。那时亚她利雅当政。
