Daniel 12

1 “At that time Michael, the great prince who stands watch over your people, will rise up. There will be a time of distress, the likes of which will not have occurred from the beginning of nations until that time. But at that time your people—everyone whose name is found written in the book—will be delivered.

1 “那时，守护你同胞的天使长米迦勒必挺身而出。将有一段灾难时期，是开国以来从未有过的。那时，你同胞中凡名字记在册子上的，必得拯救。

2 And many who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake, some to everlasting life, but others to shame and everlasting contempt.

2 许多长眠地下的人必醒过来，有些得到永生，有些蒙受羞辱，永远被憎恶。

3 Then the wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness will shine like the stars forever and ever.

3 智者必发出光辉，如耀眼的穹苍；引导多人归向公义的人必如闪亮的星辰，直到永永远远。

4 But you, Daniel, shut up these words and seal the book until the time of the end. Many will roam to and fro, and knowledge will increase.”

4 但以理啊，这些话要保密，要把这书封起来，直到末了。许多人必四处探究，因而知识必增多。”

5 Then I, Daniel, looked and saw two others standing there, one on this bank of the river and one on the opposite bank.

5 我但以理观看，看见另有两个人分别站在河的两岸。

6 One of them said to the man dressed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, “How long until the fulfillment of these wonders?”

6 其中一人问身穿细麻衣、站在河水之上的人：“这奇异的事何时才应验呢？”

7 And the man dressed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, raised his right hand and his left hand toward heaven, and I heard him swear by Him who lives forever, saying, “It will be for a time, and times, and half a time. When the power of the holy people has finally been shattered, all these things will be completed.”

7 我听见身穿细麻衣、站在河水之上的人向天举起双手，凭永活者起誓说：“再过三年半，等摧毁圣民的权势结束时，这一切事都要成就。”

8 I heard, but I did not understand. So I asked, “My lord, what will be the outcome of these things?”

8 我听见这话，却不明白，就问他：“我主啊，这些事的结局会怎样呢？”

9 “Go on your way, Daniel,” he replied, “for the words are closed up and sealed until the time of the end.

9 他说：“但以理啊，你走吧，因为这些事要保密，要被封起来，一直到末了。

10 Many will be purified, made spotless, and refined, but the wicked will continue to act wickedly. None of the wicked will understand, but the wise will understand.

10 许多人必被净化、洗涤、炼净。但恶人必依旧作恶，他们无人明白，只有智者能明白。

11 And from the time the daily sacrifice is abolished and the abomination of desolation set up, there will be 1,290 days.

11 从废除日常献的祭、设立带来毁灭的可憎之物算起，必经过一千二百九十天。

12 Blessed is he who waits and reaches the end of the 1,335 days.

12 能等候一千三百三十五天的人有福了！

13 But as for you, go on your way until the end. You will rest, and then you will arise to your inheritance at the end of the days.”

13 你要坚持到底。你必得到安息，到了末后的日子，你必起来承受你的产业。”
