Joshua 21

1 Now the family heads of the Levites approached Eleazar the priest, Joshua son of Nun, and the heads of the other tribes of Israel

1 那时，利未人的众族长来到祭司以利亚撒和嫩的儿子约书亚，并以色列各支派的族长面前，

2 at Shiloh in the land of Canaan and said to them, “The LORD commanded through Moses that we be given cities in which to live, together with pasturelands for our livestock.”

2 在迦南地的示罗对他们说：「从前耶和华借着摩西吩咐给我们城邑居住，并城邑的郊野可以牧养我们的牲畜。」

3 So by the command of the LORD, the Israelites gave the Levites these cities and their pasturelands out of their own inheritance:

3 于是以色列人照耶和华所吩咐的，从自己的地业中，将以下所记的城邑和城邑的郊野给了利未人。

4 The first lot came out for the Kohathite clans. The Levites who were descendants of Aaron the priest received thirteen cities by lot from the tribes of Judah, Simeon, and Benjamin.

4 为哥辖族拈阄：利未人的祭司、亚伦的子孙，从犹大支派、西缅支派、便雅悯支派的地业中，按阄得了十三座城。

5 The remaining descendants of Kohath received ten cities by lot from the tribes of Ephraim, Dan, and the half-tribe of Manasseh.

5 哥辖其余的子孙，从以法莲支派、但支派、玛拿西半支派的地业中，按阄得了十座城。

6 The descendants of Gershon received thirteen cities by lot from the tribes of Issachar, Asher, Naphtali, and the half-tribe of Manasseh in Bashan.

6 革顺的子孙，从以萨迦支派、亚设支派、拿弗他利支派、住巴珊的玛拿西半支派的地业中，按阄得了十三座城。

7 And the descendants of Merari received twelve cities from the tribes of Reuben, Gad, and Zebulun.

7 米拉利的子孙，按着宗族，从吕便支派、迦得支派、西布伦支派的地业中，按阄得了十二座城。

8 So the Israelites allotted to the Levites these cities, together with their pasturelands, as the LORD had commanded through Moses.

8 以色列人照着耶和华借摩西所吩咐的，将这些城邑和城邑的郊野，按阄分给利未人。

9 From the tribes of Judah and Simeon, they designated these cities by name

9–10 从犹大支派、西缅支派的地业中，将以下所记的城给了利未支派哥辖宗族亚伦的子孙；因为给他们拈出头一阄，

10 to the descendants of Aaron from the Kohathite clans of the Levites, because the first lot fell to them:

11 They gave them Kiriath-arba (that is, Hebron), with its surrounding pasturelands, in the hill country of Judah. (Arba was the father of Anak.)

11 将犹大山地的基列·亚巴和四围的郊野给了他们。亚巴是亚衲族的始祖。（基列·亚巴就是希伯 ）。

12 But they had given the fields and villages around the city to Caleb son of Jephunneh as his possession.

12 惟将属城的田地和村庄给了耶孚尼的儿子迦勒为业。

13 So to the descendants of Aaron the priest they gave these cities, together with their pasturelands: Hebron, a city of refuge for the manslayer, Libnah,

13 以色列人将希伯 ，就是误杀人的逃城和属城的郊野，给了祭司亚伦的子孙；又给他们立拿和属城的郊野，

14 Jattir, Eshtemoa,

14 雅提珥和属城的郊野，以实提莫和属城的郊野，

15 Holon, Debir,

15 何 和属城的郊野，底璧和属城的郊野，

16 Ain, Juttah, and Beth-shemesh—nine cities from these two tribes, together with their pasturelands.

16 亚因和属城的郊野，淤他和属城的郊野，伯·示麦和属城的郊野，共九座城，都是从这二支派中分出来的。

17 And from the tribe of Benjamin they gave them Gibeon, Geba,

17 又从便雅悯支派的地业中给了他们基遍和属城的郊野，迦巴和属城的郊野，

18 Anathoth, and Almon—four cities, together with their pasturelands.

18 亚拿突和属城的郊野，亚勒们和属城的郊野，共四座城。

19 In all, thirteen cities, together with their pasturelands, were given to the priests, the descendants of Aaron.

19 亚伦子孙作祭司的共有十三座城，还有属城的郊野。

20 The remaining Kohathite clans of the Levites were allotted these cities: From the tribe of Ephraim

20 利未支派中哥辖的宗族，就是哥辖其余的子孙，拈阄所得的城有从以法莲支派中分出来的。

21 they were given Shechem in the hill country of Ephraim (a city of refuge for the manslayer), Gezer,

21 以色列人将以法莲山地的示剑，就是误杀人的逃城和属城的郊野，给了他们；又给他们基色和属城的郊野，

22 Kibzaim, and Beth-horon—four cities, together with their pasturelands.

22 基伯先和属城的郊野，伯·和 和属城的郊野，共四座城；

23 From the tribe of Dan they were given Elteke, Gibbethon,

23 又从但支派的地业中给了他们伊利提基和属城的郊野，基比顿和属城的郊野，

24 Aijalon, and Gath-rimmon—four cities, together with their pasturelands.

24 亚雅 和属城的郊野，迦特·临门和属城的郊野，共四座城；

25 And from the half-tribe of Manasseh they were given Taanach and Gath-rimmon—two cities, together with their pasturelands.

25 又从玛拿西半支派的地业中给了他们他纳和属城的郊野，迦特·临门和属城的郊野，共两座城。

26 In all, ten cities, together with their pasturelands, were given to the rest of the Kohathite clans.

26 哥辖其余的子孙共有十座城，还有属城的郊野。

27 This is what the Levite clans of the Gershonites were given: From the half-tribe of Manasseh they were given Golan in Bashan, a city of refuge for the manslayer, and Beeshterah—two cities, together with their pasturelands.

27 以色列人又从玛拿西半支派的地业中将巴珊的哥兰，就是误杀人的逃城和属城的郊野，给了利未支派革顺的子孙；又给他们比·施提拉和属城的郊野，共两座城；

28 From the tribe of Issachar they were given Kishion, Daberath,

28 又从以萨迦支派的地业中给了他们基善和属城的郊野，大比拉和属城的郊野，

29 Jarmuth, and En-gannim—four cities, together with their pasturelands.

29 耶末和属城的郊野，隐·干宁和属城的郊野，共四座城；

30 From the tribe of Asher they were given Mishal, Abdon,

30 又从亚设支派的地业中给了他们米沙勒和属城的郊野，押顿和属城的郊野，

31 Helkath, and Rehob—four cities, together with their pasturelands.

31 黑甲和属城的郊野，利合和属城的郊野，共四座城；

32 And from the tribe of Naphtali they were given Kedesh in Galilee (a city of refuge for the manslayer), Hammoth-dor, and Kartan—three cities, together with their pasturelands.

32 又从拿弗他利支派的地业中将加利利的基低斯，就是误杀人的逃城和属城的郊野，给了他们；又给他们哈末·多珥和属城的郊野，加珥坦和属城的郊野，共三座城。

33 In all, thirteen cities, together with their pasturelands, were given to the Gershonite clans.

33 革顺人按着宗族所得的城，共十三座，还有属城的郊野。

34 This is what the Merarite clan (the rest of the Levites) were given: From the tribe of Zebulun they were given Jokneam, Kartah,

34 其余利未支派米拉利子孙，从西布伦支派的地业中所得的，就是约念和属城的郊野，加珥他和属城的郊野，

35 Dimnah, and Nahalal—four cities, together with their pasturelands.

35 丁拿和属城的郊野，拿哈拉和属城的郊野，共四座城；

36 From the tribe of Reuben they were given Bezer, Jahaz,

36 又从吕便支派的地业中给了他们比悉和属城的郊野，雅杂和属城的郊野，

37 Kedemoth, and Mephaath—four cities, together with their pasturelands.

37 基底莫和属城的郊野，米法押和属城的郊野，共四座城；

38 And from the tribe of Gad they were given Ramoth in Gilead, a city of refuge for the manslayer, Mahanaim,

38 又从迦得支派的地业中，将基列的拉末，就是误杀人的逃城和属城的郊野，给了他们；又给他们玛哈念和属城的郊野，

39 Heshbon, and Jazer—four cities in all, together with their pasturelands.

39 希实本和属城的郊野，雅谢和属城的郊野，共四座城。

40 In all, twelve cities were allotted to the clans of Merari, the remaining Levite clans.

40 其余利未支派的人，就是米拉利的子孙，按着宗族拈阄所得的，共十二座城。

41 For the Levites, then, there were forty-eight cities in all, together with their pasturelands, within the territory of the Israelites.

41 利未人在以色列人的地业中所得的城，共四十八座，并有属城的郊野。

42 Each of these cities had its own surrounding pasturelands; this was true for all the cities.

42 这些城四围都有属城的郊野，城城都是如此。

43 Thus the LORD gave Israel all the land He had sworn to give their fathers, and they took possession of it and settled in it.

43 这样，耶和华将从前向他们列祖起誓所应许的全地赐给以色列人，他们就得了为业，住在其中。

44 And the LORD gave them rest on every side, just as He had sworn to their fathers. None of their enemies could stand against them, for the LORD delivered all their enemies into their hand.

44 耶和华照着向他们列祖起誓所应许的一切话，使他们四境平安；他们一切仇敌中，没有一人在他们面前站立得住。耶和华把一切仇敌都交在他们手中。

45 Not one of all the LORD’s good promises to the house of Israel had failed; everything was fulfilled.

45 耶和华应许赐福给以色列家的话一句也没有落空，都应验了。
