1 Chronicles 8

1 Benjamin was the father of Bela his firstborn, Ashbel the second, Aharah the third,

1 وَأَنْجَبَ بَنْيَامِينُ خَمْسَةَ أَبْنَاءٍ هُمْ عَلَى التَّوَالِي: بِكْرُهُ بَالَعُ، وَأَشْبِيلُ وَأَخْرَخُ،

2 Nohah the fourth, and Rapha the fifth.

2 وَنُوحَةُ وَرَافَا.

3 The sons of Bela: Addar, Gera, Abihud,

3 وَأَبْنَاءُ بَالَعَ: أَدَّارُ وَجَيْرَا وَأَبِيهُودُ،

4 Abishua, Naaman, Ahoah,

4 وَأَبِيشُوعُ وَنُعْمَانُ وَأَخُوخُ،

5 Gera, Shephuphan, and Huram.

5 وَحَيْرَا وَشَفُوفَانُ، وَحُورَامُ.

6 These were the descendants of Ehud who were the heads of the families living in Geba and were exiled to Manahath:

6 وَهَذِهِ هِيَ أَسْمَاءُ أَبْنَاءِ آحُودَ الَّذِينَ كَانُوا رُؤَسَاءَ عَائِلاتٍ مِنْ أَهْلِ جَبْعَ الَّذِينَ طُرِدُوا فِي مَا بَعْدُ إِلَى مَنَاحَةَ،

7 Naaman, Ahijah, and Gera, who carried them into exile and who was the father of Uzza and Ahihud.

7 وَهُمْ: نُعْمَانُ وَأَخِيَّا وَجَيْرَا الَّذِي قَادَهُمْ إِلَى مَنَاحَةَ، وَقَدْ أَنْجَبَ عُزَّا وَأَخِيحُودَ.

8 Shaharaim had sons in the country of Moab after he had divorced his wives Hushim and Baara.

8 وَأَنْجَبَ شَحْرَايِمُ فِي بِلادِ مُوآبَ، بَعْدَ أَنْ طَلَّقَ زَوْجَتَيْهِ حُوشِيمَ وَبَعْرَا،

9 His sons by his wife Hodesh: Jobab, Zibia, Mesha, Malcam,

9 أَبْنَاءً مِنْ زَوْجَتِهِ الْجَدِيدَةِ خُودَشَ، هُمْ: يُوبَابُ وَظِبْيَا وَمَيْشَا وَمَلْكَامُ،

10 Jeuz, Sachia, and Mirmah. These were his sons, heads of families.

10 وَيَعُوصُ وَشَبْيَا وَمِرْمَةُ. وَقَدْ أَصْبَحَ هَؤُلاءِ رُؤَسَاءَ بُيُوتَاتٍ.

11 He also had sons by Hushim: Abitub and Elpaal.

11 وَكَانَ قَدْ أَنْجَبَ مِنْ زَوْجَتِهِ حُوشِيمَ ابْنَيْنِ هُمَا: أَبِيطُوبُ وَأَلْفَعَلُ.

12 The sons of Elpaal: Eber, Misham, Shemed (who built Ono and Lod with its villages),

12 أَمَّا أَبْنَاءُ أَلْفَعَلَ فَهُمْ: عَابِرُ وَمِشْعَامُ وَشَامِرُ الَّذِي بَنَى مَدِينَتَيْ أُونُوَ وَلُودَ وَضِيَاعَهُمَا،

13 and Beriah and Shema (who were the heads of families living in Aijalon and who drove out the inhabitants of Gath).

13 وَبَرِيعَةُ وَشَمَعُ وَهُمَا رَأْسَا عَائِلاتِ أَهْلِ أَيَّلُونَ، وَقَدْ قَامَا بِطَرْدِ سُكَّانِ جَتَّ مِنْهَا.

14 Ahio, Shashak, Jeremoth,

14 أَمَّا أَخِيُو وَشَاشَقُ وَيَرِيمُوتُ،

15 Zebadiah, Arad, Eder,

15 وَزَبَدْيَا وَعَدَادُ وَعَادَرُ،

16 Michael, Ishpah, and Joha were the sons of Beriah.

16 وَمِيخَائِيلُ وَيِشْفَةُ وَيُوخَا فَهُمْ أَبْنَاءُ بَرِيعَةَ.

17 Zebadiah, Meshullam, Hizki, Heber,

17 أَمَّا زَبَدْيَا وَمَشُلّامُ وَحَزْقِي وَحَابِرُ،

18 Ishmerai, Izliah, and Jobab were the sons of Elpaal.

18 وَيِشْمَرَايُ وَيَزَلْيَاهُ وَيُوبَابُ، فَهُمْ أَبْنَاءُ أَلْفَعَلَ.

19 Jakim, Zichri, Zabdi,

19 أَمَّا يَاقِيمُ وَزِكْرِي وَزَبْدِي،

20 Elienai, Zillethai, Eliel,

20 وَأَلِيعِينَايُ وَصِلَّتَايُ وَإِيلِيئِيلُ،

21 Adaiah, Beraiah, and Shimrath were the sons of Shimei.

21 وَعَدَايَا وَبَرَايَا وَشِمْرَةُ فَهُمْ أَبْنَاءُ شِمْعِي.

22 Ishpan, Eber, Eliel,

22 وَأَمَّا يِشْفَانُ وَعَابِرُ وَإِيلِيئِيلُ،

23 Abdon, Zichri, Hanan,

23 وَعَبْدُونُ وَزِكْرِي وَحَانَانُ،

24 Hananiah, Elam, Anthothijah,

24 وَحَنَنْيَا وَعِيلامُ وَعَنَثُوثِيَا،

25 Iphdeiah, and Penuel were the sons of Shashak.

25 وَيَفَدْيَا وَفَنُوئِيلُ فَهُمْ أَبْنَاءُ شَاشَقَ.

26 Shamsherai, Shehariah, Athaliah,

26 أَمَّا شِمْشَرَايُ وَشَحَرْيَا وَعَثَلْيَا،

27 Jaareshiah, Elijah, and Zichri were the sons of Jeroham.

27 وَيَعْرَشْيَا وَإِيلِيَّا وَزِكْرِي فَهُمْ أَبْنَاءُ يَرُوحَامَ.

28 All these were heads of families, the chiefs according to their genealogies, and they lived in Jerusalem.

28 هَؤُلاءِ هُمْ رُؤَسَاءُ آبَاءِ بُيُوتَاتِهِمْ حَسَبَ سِجِلّاتِ مَوَالِيدِهِمْ، مِمَّنِ اسْتَوْطَنُوا فِي أُورُشَلِيمَ.

29 Jeiel the father of Gibeon lived in Gibeon. His wife’s name was Maacah,

29 وَأَسَّسَ يَعُوئِيلُ مَدِينَةَ جِبْعُونَ وَأَقَامَ فِيهَا. وَأَنْجَبَتْ لَهُ زَوْجَتُهُ مَعْكَةُ

30 and Abdon was his firstborn son, then Zur, Kish, Baal, Nadab,

30 عَبْدُونَ الابْنَ الْبِكْرَ، ثُمَّ صُوراً وَقَيْساً وَبَعَلَ وَنَادَابَ،

31 Gedor, Ahio, Zecher,

31 وَجَدُورَ وَأَخِيُو وَزَاكِرَ.

32 and Mikloth, who was the father of Shimeah. They too lived alongside their relatives in Jerusalem.

32 وَمِقْلُوثَ الَّذِي أَنْجَبَ شَمَاةَ. وَهُمْ أَيْضاً أَقَامُوا فِي أُورُشَلِيمَ إِلَى جُوَارِ بَقِيَّةِ أَقَارِبِهِمْ.

33 Ner was the father of Kish, Kish was the father of Saul, and Saul was the father of Jonathan, Malchishua, Abinadab, and Esh-baal.

33 وَأَنْجَبَ نِيرُ قَيْساً، وَقَيْسٌ وَلَدَ شَاوُلَ الَّذِي أَنْجَبَ يَهُونَاثَانَ وَمَلْكِيشُوعَ وَأَبِينَادَابَ وَإِشْبَعَلَ.

34 The son of Jonathan: Merib-baal, and Merib-baal was the father of Micah.

34 وَأَنْجَبَ يَهُونَاثَانُ مَرِيبْبَعَلَ، وَمَرِيبْبَعَلُ مِيخَا.

35 The sons of Micah: Pithon, Melech, Tarea, and Ahaz.

35 أَمَّا أَبْنَاءُ مِيخَا فَهُمْ: فِيثُونُ وَمَالِكُ وَتَارِيعُ وآحَازُ.

36 Ahaz was the father of Jehoaddah, Jehoaddah was the father of Alemeth, Azmaveth, and Zimri, and Zimri was the father of Moza.

36 وَأَنْجَبَ آحَازُ يَهُوعَدَّةَ، وَيَهُوعَدَّةُ عَلْمَثَ وَعَزْمُوتَ وَزِمْرِي، وَزِمْرِي مُوصَا.

37 Moza was the father of Binea. Raphah was his son, Eleasah his son, and Azel his son.

37 وَمُوصَا وَلَدَ بِنْعَةَ، وَبِنْعَةُ رَافَةَ، وَرَافَةُ أَلِعَاسَةَ، وَأَلِعَاسَةُ آصِيلَ.

38 Azel had six sons, and these were their names: Azrikam, Bocheru, Ishmael, Sheariah, Obadiah, and Hanan. All these were the sons of Azel.

38 وَكَانَ لِآصِيلَ سِتَّةُ أَبْنَاءٍ هُمْ: عَزْرِيقَامُ وَبُكْرُو وَإِسْمعِيلُ وَشَعَرْيَا وَعُوبَدْيَا وَحَانَانُ. وَجَمِيعُ هَؤُلاءِ هُمْ أَبْنَاءُ آصِيلَ.

39 The sons of his brother Eshek: Ulam was his firstborn, Jeush second, and Eliphelet third.

39 أَمَّا أَخُوهُ عَاشِقُ فَقَدْ أَنْجَبَ بِكْرَهُ أُولامَ ثُمَّ يَعُوشَ، فَأَلِيفَلَطَ.

40 The sons of Ulam were mighty men of valor, archers, and they had many sons and grandsons—150 in all. All these were the descendants of Benjamin.

40 وَكَانَ أَبْنَاءُ أُولامَ مُحَارِبِينَ أَشِدَّاءَ بَارِعِينَ فِي الرِّمَايَةِ، أَكْثَرُوا مِنْ إِنْجَابِ الْبَنِينَ وَالأَحْفَادِ حَتَّى بَلَغَ عَدَدُهُمْ مِئَةً وَخَمْسِينَ. وَجَمِيعُ هَؤُلاءِ مِنْ سِبْطِ بِنْيَامِينَ.
