Amos 9

1 I saw the Lord standing beside the altar, and He said: “Strike the tops of the pillars so that the thresholds shake. Topple them on the heads of all the people, and I will kill the rest with the sword. None of those who flee will get away; none of the fugitives will escape.

1 我看见主站在祭坛旁，祂说： “你要击打柱顶，使殿的根基震动； 要打碎它们，使殿宇坍塌压死众人。 侥幸生还的，我要用刀剑杀掉， 无人能逃脱，无人能幸免。

2 Though they dig down to Sheol, from there My hand will take them; and though they climb up to heaven, from there I will pull them down.

2 即使他们挖洞钻进阴间， 我也要把他们揪出来； 即使他们爬上高天， 我也要把他们拉下来；

3 Though they hide themselves atop Carmel, there I will track them and seize them; and though they hide from Me at the bottom of the sea, there I will command the serpent to bite them.

3 即使他们藏在迦密山的峰顶， 我也要去搜寻，捉住他们； 即使他们潜到海底， 我也要派海蛇去吞咬他们；

4 Though they are driven by their enemies into captivity, there I will command the sword to slay them. I will fix My eyes upon them for harm and not for good.”

4 即使他们被敌人掳去， 我也要命刀剑追杀他们。 我要定睛在他们身上， 不是要赐福而是要降祸。”

5 The Lord GOD of Hosts, He who touches the earth and it melts, and all its dwellers mourn—all the land rises like the Nile, then sinks like the river of Egypt—

5 主——万军之耶和华触摸大地， 大地就消融，地上的人都要哀号； 大地如埃及的尼罗河涨起退落。

6 He builds His upper rooms in the heavens and founds His vault upon the earth. He summons the waters of the sea and pours them over the face of the earth. The LORD is His name.

6 那位在天上建造楼阁， 在大地之上立定穹苍， 召来海水浇在大地上的—— 祂的名字是耶和华。

7 “Are you not like the Cushites to Me, O children of Israel?” declares the LORD. “Did I not bring Israel up from the land of Egypt, the Philistines from Caphtor, and the Arameans from Kir?

7 耶和华说： “以色列人啊， 在我眼中，你们不是和古实人一样吗？ 我不是领你们出埃及， 领非利士人出迦斐托 ， 领亚兰人出吉珥吗？

8 Surely the eyes of the Lord GOD are on the sinful kingdom, and I will destroy it from the face of the earth. Yet I will not utterly destroy the house of Jacob,” declares the LORD.

8 主耶和华的眼目察看这罪恶的国家， 我要从地上除灭它， 但不会完全毁灭雅各家。 这是耶和华说的。

9 “For surely I will give the command, and I will shake the house of Israel among all the nations as grain is sifted in a sieve; but not a pebble will reach the ground.

9 “因为我要下令在万国中筛以色列家， 就像人筛谷物，一粒石子也不会落在地上。

10 All the sinners among My people will die by the sword—all those who say, ‘Disaster will never draw near or confront us.’”

10 在我的子民中， 所有夸口说‘灾祸不会追上我们，也不会迎面而来’的罪人， 都要死在刀下。

11 “In that day I will restore the fallen tent of David. I will repair its gaps, restore its ruins, and rebuild it as in the days of old,

11 “到那日， 我要重建大卫已倾覆的棚子， 修补它城墙的缺口。 我要从废墟中重建它， 恢复它往日的荣耀。

12 that they may possess the remnant of Edom and all the nations that bear My name,” declares the LORD, who will do this.

12 这样，以色列人必拥有以东所剩的和所有属于我名下的国家。 这是要成就这事的耶和华说的。”

13 “Behold, the days are coming,” declares the LORD, “when the plowman will overtake the reaper and the treader of grapes, the sower of seed. The mountains will drip with sweet wine, with which all the hills will flow.

13 耶和华说： “时候将到， 五谷还未收完又该耕种了， 葡萄还未踩完又该栽种了。 甜酒从群山上滴下，在丘岭间流淌。

14 I will restore My people Israel from captivity; they will rebuild and inhabit the ruined cities. They will plant vineyards and drink their wine; they will make gardens and eat their fruit.

14 我要使我被掳的以色列子民返乡， 他们要重建废城并住在城中， 栽种葡萄园，喝园中酿出的美酒， 整理园圃，吃园中出产的佳果。

15 I will firmly plant them in their own land, never again to be uprooted from the land that I have given them,” says the LORD your God.

15 我要将以色列人栽种在他们自己的土地上， 他们永不再从我赐给他们的土地上被铲除。” 这是你们的上帝耶和华说的。
