Ezekiel 37

1 The hand of the LORD was upon me, and He brought me out by His Spirit and set me down in the middle of the valley, and it was full of bones.

1 याहवेह का हाथ मुझ पर था, और वह मुझे याहवेह के आत्मा के द्वारा बाहर ले आया और एक घाटी के बीच में खड़ा कर दिया; वह घाटी हड्डियों से भरी पड़ी थी.

2 He led me all around among them, and I saw a great many bones on the floor of the valley, and indeed, they were very dry.

2 उसने मुझे उनके बीच आने जाने में मेरी अगुवाई की, और मैंने घाटी की तल पर बहुत सारी हड्डियां देखी, जो बहुत सूखी थी.

3 Then He asked me, “Son of man, can these bones come to life?” “O Lord GOD,” I replied, “only You know.”

3 उसने मुझसे पूछा, “हे मनुष्य के पुत्र, क्या ये हड्डियां जीवित हो सकती हैं?” मैंने कहा, “परम प्रधान याहवेह, यह तो आप ही जानते हैं.”

4 And He said to me, “Prophesy concerning these bones and tell them, ‘Dry bones, hear the word of the LORD!

4 तब उसने मुझसे कहा, “इन हड्डियों से भविष्यवाणी करके कहो, ‘हे सूखी हड्डियो, याहवेह की बात सुनो!

5 This is what the Lord GOD says to these bones: I will cause breath to enter you, and you will come to life.

5 परम प्रधान याहवेह का इन अस्थियों से यह कहना है: मैं तुममें सांस डाल दूंगा, और तुम जीवित हो जाओगे.

6 I will attach tendons to you and make flesh grow upon you and cover you with skin. I will put breath within you so that you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the LORD.’”

6 मैं तुममें स्‍नायु-तंत्र जोड़कर तुम्हारे ऊपर मांस चढ़ा दूंगा और तुम्हें चमड़े से ढांप दूंगा; मैं तुममें सांस फूंक दूंगा, और तुम जीवित हो जाओगे. तब तुम जानोगे कि मैं याहवेह हूं.’”

7 So I prophesied as I had been commanded. And as I prophesied, there was suddenly a noise, a rattling, and the bones came together, bone to bone.

7 तब मैंने इस आज्ञा के अनुसार भविष्यवाणी की. और जब मैं भविष्यवाणी कर रहा था, तब वहां एक खड़खड़ाहट की आवाज हुई, और हड्डियां इकट्ठी हो गईं और एक हड्डी से दूसरी हड्डी जुड़ गई.

8 As I looked on, tendons appeared on them, flesh grew, and skin covered them; but there was no breath in them.

8 तब मैंने देखा कि उनमें स्‍नायु-तंत्र और मांसपेशियां आ गईं और उनके ऊपर चमड़ा चढ़ गया, परंतु उनमें सांस नहीं थी.

9 Then He said to me, “Prophesy to the breath; prophesy, son of man, and tell the breath that this is what the Lord GOD says: Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe into these slain, so that they may live!”

9 तब उसने मुझसे कहा, “हे मनुष्य के पुत्र, सांस से भविष्यवाणी करो; भविष्यवाणी करो, और उसे कहो, ‘परम प्रधान याहवेह का यह कहना है: हे सांस, चारों दिशाओं से आओ और इन मारे गये लोगों में समा जाओ कि वे जीवित हो जाएं.’”

10 So I prophesied as He had commanded me, and the breath entered them, and they came to life and stood on their feet—a vast army.

10 याहवेह के इस आज्ञा के अनुसार मैंने भविष्यवाणी की, और सांस उनमें समा गयी; वे जीवित होकर अपने-अपने पांवों पर खड़े हो गए—एक बहुत बड़ी सेना.

11 Then He said to me, “Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel. Look, they are saying, ‘Our bones are dried up, and our hope has perished; we are cut off.’

11 तब याहवेह ने मुझसे कहा, “हे मनुष्य के पुत्र, ये हड्डियां इस्राएल के लोग हैं. वे कहते हैं, ‘हमारी हड्डियां सूख गई हैं और हमारी आशा जाती रही; हम अलग हो गये हैं.’

12 Therefore prophesy and tell them that this is what the Lord GOD says: ‘O My people, I will open your graves and bring you up from them, and I will bring you back to the land of Israel.

12 इसलिये भविष्यवाणी करके उनसे कहो: ‘परम प्रधान याहवेह का यह कहना है: हे मेरे लोगों, मैं तुम्हारी कब्रों को खोलने जा रहा हूं और वहां से तुम्हें बाहर निकालूंगा; मैं तुम्हें वापस इस्राएल देश में ले आऊंगा.

13 Then you, My people, will know that I am the LORD, when I open your graves and bring you up from them.

13 तब हे मेरे लोगो, तुम जानोगे कि मैं याहवेह हूं, जब मैं तुम्हारी कब्रों को खोल दूंगा और तुम्हें बाहर निकालूंगा.

14 I will put My Spirit in you and you will live, and I will settle you in your own land. Then you will know that I, the LORD, have spoken, and I will do it, declares the LORD.’”

14 मैं अपना आत्मा तुममें डालूंगा और तुम जीवित होंगे, और मैं तुम्हें तुम्हारे स्वयं के देश में बसाऊंगा. तब तुम जानोगे कि मैं याहवेह ने कहा है, और मैंने यह किया है, याहवेह की घोषणा है.’”

15 Again the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

15 याहवेह का वचन मेरे पास आया:

16 “And you, son of man, take a single stick and write on it: ‘Belonging to Judah and to the Israelites associated with him.’ Then take another stick and write on it: ‘Belonging to Joseph—the stick of Ephraim—and to all the house of Israel associated with him.’

16 “हे मनुष्य के पुत्र, लकड़ी की एक लाठी लो और उस पर यह लिखो, ‘यहूदिया और इस्राएल से संबंधित लोग उसके साथ जुड़ गये हैं.’ तब लकड़ी की एक और लाठी लेकर उस पर लिखो, ‘योसेफ़ (एफ्राईम) और सब इस्राएली उसके साथ जुड़ गये हैं.’

17 Then join them together into one stick, so that they become one in your hand.

17 उन लाठियों को जोड़कर एक ही लाठी बना लो ताकि वे तुम्हारे हाथ में एक ही बन जाएं.

18 When your people ask you, ‘Won’t you explain to us what you mean by these?’

18 “जब तुम्हारे लोग तुमसे पूछे, ‘क्या तुम हमें नहीं बताओगे कि इनका क्या मतलब है?’

19 you are to tell them that this is what the Lord GOD says: ‘I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel associated with him, and I will put them together with the stick of Judah. I will make them into a single stick, and they will become one in My hand.’

19 तब उनसे कहो, ‘परम प्रधान याहवेह का यह कहना है: मैं योसेफ़ की लाठी को ले लूंगा—जो एफ्राईम के हाथ में है—और इस्राएल के जो गोत्र उसके साथ जुड़े हुए हैं, उन्हें लेकर मैं यहूदिया की लाठी से जोड़ दूंगा. मैं उन्हें लकड़ी की एक लाठी बना दूंगा, और वे मेरे हाथ में एक हो जाएंगे.’

20 When the sticks on which you write are in your hand and in full view of the people,

20 जिन लाठियों पर तुमने लिखा है, उन्हें उनके सामने पकड़ो

21 you are to tell them that this is what the Lord GOD says: ‘I will take the Israelites out of the nations to which they have gone, and I will gather them from all around and bring them into their own land.

21 और उनसे कहो, ‘परम प्रधान याहवेह का यह कहना है: मैं इस्राएलियों को उन राष्ट्रों से बाहर निकाल लूंगा, जहां वे गये हैं, मैं उन्हें चारों ओर से इकट्ठा करूंगा और उन्हें उनके स्वयं के देश में ले आऊंगा.

22 I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel, and one king will rule over all of them. Then they will no longer be two nations and will never again be divided into two kingdoms.

22 मैं उन्हें देश में इस्राएल के पर्वतों पर एक राष्ट्र बनाऊंगा. उन सबके ऊपर एक ही राजा होगा और वे फिर कभी दो जातियों में नहीं होंगे या दो राज्यों में नहीं बंटेंगे.

23 They will no longer defile themselves with their idols or detestable images, or with any of their transgressions. I will save them from all their apostasies by which they sinned, and I will cleanse them. Then they will be My people, and I will be their God.

23 वे फिर अपने मूर्तियों और निकम्मे प्रतिमाओं या अपने किसी बुरे कार्यों के द्वारा अपने आपको अशुद्ध नहीं करेंगे, क्योंकि मैं उन्हें उनके पहले के सब पापमय कामों से बचाऊंगा, और मैं उन्हें शुद्ध करूंगा. वे मेरे लोग होंगे, और मैं उनका परमेश्वर ठहरूंगा.

24 My servant David will be king over them, and there will be one shepherd for all of them. They will follow My ordinances and keep and observe My statutes.

24 “ ‘मेरा सेवक दावीद उनका राजा होगा, और उन सबका एक चरवाहा होगा. वे मेरे कानूनों के पीछे चलेंगे और मेरे नियमों का पालन करने में सावधानी बरतेंगे.

25 They will live in the land that I gave to My servant Jacob, where your fathers lived. They will live there forever with their children and grandchildren, and My servant David will be their prince forever.

25 वे उस देश में रहेंगे, जिसे मैंने अपने सेवक याकोब को दिया था, वह देश जहां तुम्हारे पूर्वज रहा करते थे. वे और उनके बच्‍चे और उनके बच्चों के बच्‍चे सदाकाल के लिये वहां रहेंगे, और मेरा सेवक दावीद सदाकाल के लिये उनका राजकुमार होगा.

26 And I will make a covenant of peace with them; it will be an everlasting covenant. I will establish them and multiply them, and I will set My sanctuary among them forever.

26 मैं उनके साथ शांति की एक वाचा बांधूंगा; यह चिरकाल तक बनी रहनेवाली वाचा होगी. मैं उन्हें बसाऊंगा और उनकी संख्या को बढ़ाऊंगा, और मैं अपने पवित्र स्थान को उनके बीच सदाकाल के लिये बनाये रखूंगा.

27 My dwelling place will be with them; I will be their God, and they will be My people.

27 मेरा निवास स्थान उनके साथ होगा; मैं उनका परमेश्वर ठहरूंगा और वे मेरे लोग होंगे.

28 Then the nations will know that I the LORD sanctify Israel, when My sanctuary is among them forever.’”

28 जब मेरा पवित्र स्थान सदा के लिये उनके बीच होगा, तब सब राष्ट्रों के लोग जानेंगे कि मैं याहवेह इस्राएल को पवित्र करता हूं.’”
