| BSB 17 the Hivites, the Arkites, the Sinites, | SVD 17 وَٱلْحِوِّيَّ وَٱلْعَرْقِيَّ وَٱلسِّينِيَّ |
| BSB 18 the Arvadites, the Zemarites, and the Hamathites. Later the Canaanite clans were scattered, | SVD 18 وَٱلْأَرْوَادِيَّ وَٱلصَّمَارِيَّ وَٱلْحَمَاتِيَّ. وَبَعْدَ ذَلِكَ تَفَرَّقَتْ قَبَائِلُ ٱلْكَنْعَانِيِّ. |
| BSB 19 and the borders of Canaan extended from Sidon toward Gerar as far as Gaza, and then toward Sodom, Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboiim, as far as Lasha. | SVD 19 وَكَانَتْ تُخُومُ ٱلْكَنْعَانِيِّ مِنْ صَيْدُونَ، حِينَمَا تَجِيءُ نَحْوَ جَرَارَ إِلَى غَزَّةَ، وَحِينَمَا تَجِيءُ نَحْوَ سَدُومَ وَعَمُورَةَ وَأَدْمَةَ وَصَبُويِيمَ إِلَى لَاشَعَ. |

| BSB 29 Ophir, Havilah, and Jobab. All these were sons of Joktan. | SVD 29 وَأُوفِيرَ وَحَوِيلَةَ وَيُوبَابَ. جَمِيعُ هَؤُلَاءِ بَنُو يَقْطَانَ. |
| BSB 30 Their territory extended from Mesha to Sephar, in the eastern hill country. | SVD 30 وَكَانَ مَسْكَنُهُمْ مِنْ مِيشَا حِينَمَا تَجِيءُ نَحْوَ سَفَارَ جَبَلِ ٱلْمَشْرِقِ. |
