| BSB 1 This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, He made him in His own likeness. | SVD 1 هَذَا كِتَابُ مَوَالِيدِ آدَمَ، يَوْمَ خَلَقَ ٱللهُ ٱلْإِنْسَانَ. عَلَى شَبَهِ ٱللهِ عَمِلَهُ. |
| BSB 2 Male and female He created them, and He blessed them. And in the day they were created, He called them “man.” | SVD 2 ذَكَرًا وَأُنْثَى خَلَقَهُ، وَبَارَكَهُ وَدَعَا ٱسْمَهُ آدَمَ يَوْمَ خُلِقَ. |
| BSB 3 When Adam was 130 years old, he had a son in his own likeness, after his own image; and he named him Seth. | SVD 3 وَعَاشَ آدَمُ مِئَةً وَثَلَاثِينَ سَنَةً، وَوَلَدَ وَلَدًا عَلَى شَبَهِهِ كَصُورَتِهِ وَدَعَا ٱسْمَهُ شِيثًا. |

| BSB 22 And after he had become the father of Methuselah, Enoch walked with God 300 years and had other sons and daughters. | SVD 22 وَسَارَ أَخْنُوخُ مَعَ ٱللهِ بَعْدَ مَا وَلَدَ مَتُوشَالَحَ ثَلَاثَ مِئَةِ سَنَةٍ، وَوَلَدَ بَنِينَ وَبَنَاتٍ. |
| BSB 23 So Enoch lived a total of 365 years. | SVD 23 فَكَانَتْ كُلُّ أَيَّامِ أَخْنُوخَ ثَلَاثَ مِئَةٍ وَخَمْسًا وَسِتِّينَ سَنَةً. |

| BSB 26 And after he had become the father of Lamech, Methuselah lived 782 years and had other sons and daughters. | SVD 26 وَعَاشَ مَتُوشَالَحُ بَعْدَ مَا وَلَدَ لَامَكَ سَبْعَ مِئَةٍ وَٱثْنَتَيْنِ وَثَمَانِينَ سَنَةً، وَوَلَدَ بَنِينَ وَبَنَاتٍ. |
| BSB 27 So Methuselah lived a total of 969 years, and then he died. | SVD 27 فَكَانَتْ كُلُّ أَيَّامِ مَتُوشَالَحَ تِسْعَ مِئَةٍ وَتِسْعًا وَسِتِّينَ سَنَةً، وَمَاتَ. |

| BSB 29 And he named him Noah, saying, “May this one comfort us in the labor and toil of our hands caused by the ground that the LORD has cursed.” | SVD 29 وَدَعَا ٱسْمَهُ نُوحًا، قَائِلًا: «هَذَا يُعَزِّينَا عَنْ عَمَلِنَا وَتَعَبِ أَيْدِينَا مِنْ قِبَلِ ٱلْأَرْضِ ٱلَّتِي لَعَنَهَا ٱلرَّبُّ». |
