Isaiah 11

1 Then a shoot will spring up from the stump of Jesse, and a Branch from his roots will bear fruit.

1 耶西的树桩上必生发新枝， 他根茎长出的枝子必结果子。

2 The Spirit of the LORD will rest on Him—the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and strength, the Spirit of knowledge and fear of the LORD.

2 耶和华的灵必住在祂身上， 使祂有聪明和智慧、谋略和能力， 能认识并敬畏耶和华。

3 And He will delight in the fear of the LORD. He will not judge by what His eyes see, and He will not decide by what His ears hear,

3 祂必以敬畏耶和华为乐。 祂不凭眼见施行审判， 不凭耳闻断定是非，

4 but with righteousness He will judge the poor, and with equity He will decide for the lowly of the earth. He will strike the earth with the rod of His mouth and slay the wicked with the breath of His lips.

4 而是按公义审判贫穷人， 以公正为受苦者断案。 祂必用口中的杖击打世界， 以嘴里的气杀戮恶人。

5 Righteousness will be the belt around His hips, and faithfulness the sash around His waist.

5 公义必作祂的腰带， 信实必作祂肋下的带子。

6 The wolf will live with the lamb, and the leopard will lie down with the goat; the calf and young lion and fatling will be together, and a little child will lead them.

6 那时，豺狼和绵羊羔同住， 豹子和山羊羔同卧， 牛犊和狮子同群， 小孩子必引领它们。

7 The cow will graze with the bear, their young will lie down together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox.

7 牛与熊一起进食， 小牛和小熊一起躺卧， 狮子像牛一样吃草。

8 The infant will play by the cobra’s den, and the toddler will reach into the viper’s nest.

8 吃奶的婴孩必在毒蛇的洞口玩耍， 断奶的孩子必把手伸进蛇洞。

9 They will neither harm nor destroy on all My holy mountain, for the earth will be full of the knowledge of the LORD as the sea is full of water.

9 在我的整个圣山上， 它们都不伤人、不害物。 因为大地必充满对耶和华的认识， 如同海洋被水充满。

10 On that day the Root of Jesse will stand as a banner for the peoples. The nations will seek Him, and His place of rest will be glorious.

10 到那日，耶西的根必成为引导万民的旗帜，列邦都来寻求祂，祂的安歇之处充满荣耀。

11 On that day the Lord will extend His hand a second time to recover the remnant of His people from Assyria, from Egypt, from Pathros, from Cush, from Elam, from Shinar, from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea.

11 到那日，主必再次伸手从亚述、埃及、巴特罗、古实、以拦、示拿、哈马和众海岛救回祂剩余的子民。

12 He will raise a banner for the nations and gather the exiles of Israel; He will collect the scattered of Judah from the four corners of the earth.

12 祂必向各国竖立旗帜， 召集被掳的以色列人， 把分散在世界各地的犹大人聚集起来。

13 Then the jealousy of Ephraim will depart, and the adversaries of Judah will be cut off. Ephraim will no longer envy Judah, nor will Judah harass Ephraim.

13 以法莲必不再嫉妒， 犹大的仇敌必被铲除， 以法莲必不嫉妒犹大， 犹大必不与以法莲为敌。

14 They will swoop down on the slopes of the Philistines to the west; together they will plunder the sons of the east. They will lay their hands on Edom and Moab, and the Ammonites will be subject to them.

14 他们必向西突袭非利士。 他们必一起掳掠东方人， 征服以东和摩押， 亚扪人必顺从他们。

15 The LORD will devote to destruction the gulf of the Sea of Egypt; with a scorching wind He will sweep His hand over the Euphrates. He will split it into seven streams for men to cross with dry sandals.

15 耶和华必使埃及的海湾干涸， 祂必挥手使焦热的风吹在幼发拉底河上， 把河分成七条溪流，使人可以涉水而过。

16 There will be a highway for the remnant of His people who remain from Assyria, as there was for Israel when they came up from the land of Egypt.

16 必有一条大道让祂剩余的子民从亚述归回， 就像昔日以色列人离开埃及一样。
