| BSB 1 These are the journeys of the Israelites when they came out of the land of Egypt by their divisions under the leadership of Moses and Aaron. | SVD 1 هَذِهِ رِحْلَاتُ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ ٱلَّذِينَ خَرَجُوا مِنْ أَرْضِ مِصْرَ بِجُنُودِهِمْ عَنْ يَدِ مُوسَى وَهَارُونَ. |
| BSB 2 At the LORD’s command, Moses recorded the stages of their journey. These are the stages listed by their starting points: | SVD 2 وَكَتَبَ مُوسَى مَخَارِجَهُمْ بِرِحْلَاتِهِمْ حَسَبَ قَوْلِ ٱلرَّبِّ. وَهَذِهِ رِحْلَاتُهُمْ بِمَخَارِجِهِمْ: |
| BSB 3 On the fifteenth day of the first month, on the day after the Passover, the Israelites set out from Rameses. They marched out defiantly in full view of all the Egyptians, | SVD 3 اِرْتَحَلُوا مِنْ رَعَمْسِيسَ فِي ٱلشَّهْرِ ٱلْأَوَّلِ، فِي ٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلْخَامِسَ عَشَرَ مِنَ ٱلشَّهْرِ ٱلْأَوَّلِ، فِي غَدِ ٱلْفِصْحِ. خَرَجَ بَنُو إِسْرَائِيلَ بِيَدٍ رَفِيعَةٍ أَمَامَ أَعْيُنِ جَمِيعِ ٱلْمِصْرِيِّينَ، |
| BSB 4 who were burying all their firstborn, whom the LORD had struck down among them; for the LORD had executed judgment against their gods. | SVD 4 إِذْ كَانَ ٱلْمِصْرِيُّونَ يَدْفِنُونَ ٱلَّذِينَ ضَرَبَ مِنْهُمُ ٱلرَّبُّ مِنْ كُلِّ بِكْرٍ، وَٱلرَّبُّ قَدْ صَنَعَ بِآلِهَتِهِمْ أَحْكَامًا. |

| BSB 38 At the LORD’s command, Aaron the priest climbed Mount Hor and died there on the first day of the fifth month, in the fortieth year after the Israelites had come out of the land of Egypt. | SVD 38 فَصَعِدَ هَارُونُ ٱلْكَاهِنُ إِلَى جَبَلِ هُورٍ حَسَبَ قَوْلِ ٱلرَّبِّ، وَمَاتَ هُنَاكَ فِي ٱلسَّنَةِ ٱلْأَرْبَعِينَ لِخُرُوجِ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ مِنْ أَرْضِ مِصْرَ، في ٱلشَّهْرِ ٱلخَامِسِ فِي ٱلْأَوَّلِ مِنَ ٱلشَّهْرِ. |
| BSB 39 Aaron was 123 years old when he died on Mount Hor. | SVD 39 وَكَانَ هَارُونُ ٱبْنَ مِئَةٍ وثَلَاثٍ وَعِشْرِينَ سَنَةً حِينَ مَاتَ فِي جَبَلِ هُورٍ. |
| BSB 40 Now the Canaanite king of Arad, who lived in the Negev in the land of Canaan, heard that the Israelites were coming. | SVD 40 وَسَمِعَ ٱلْكَنْعَانِيُّ مَلِكُ عَرَادَ وَهُوَ سَاكِنٌ فِي ٱلْجَنُوبِ فِي أَرْضِ كَنْعَانَ بِمَجِيءِ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ. |

| BSB 51 “Speak to the Israelites and tell them: When you cross the Jordan into the land of Canaan, | SVD 51 «كَلِّمْ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ وَقُلْ لَهُمْ: إِنَّكُمْ عَابِرُونَ ٱلْأُرْدُنَّ إِلَى أَرْضِ كَنْعَانَ، |
| BSB 52 you must drive out before you all the inhabitants of the land, destroy all their carved images and cast idols, and demolish all their high places. | SVD 52 فَتَطْرُدُونَ كُلَّ سُكَّانِ ٱلْأَرْضِ مِنْ أَمَامِكُمْ، وَتَمْحُونَ جَمِيعَ تَصَاوِيرِهِمْ، وَتُبِيدُونَ كُلَّ أَصْنَامِهِمِ ٱلْمَسْبُوكَةِ وَتُخْرِبُونَ جَمِيعَ مُرْتَفَعَاتِهِمْ. |
| BSB 53 You are to take possession of the land and settle in it, for I have given you the land to possess. | SVD 53 تَمْلِكُونَ ٱلْأَرْضَ وَتَسْكُنُونَ فِيهَا لِأَنِّي قَدْ أَعْطَيْتُكُمُ ٱلْأَرْضَ لِكَيْ تَمْلِكُوهَا، |
| BSB 54 And you are to divide the land by lot according to your clans. Give a larger inheritance to a larger clan and a smaller inheritance to a smaller one. Whatever falls to each one by lot will be his. You will receive an inheritance according to the tribes of your fathers. | SVD 54 وَتَقْتَسِمُونَ ٱلْأَرْضَ بِٱلْقُرْعَةِ حَسَبَ عَشَائِرِكُمْ. اَلْكَثِيرُ تُكَثِّرُونَ لَهُ نَصِيبَهُ وَٱلْقَلِيلُ تُقَلِّلُونَ لَهُ نَصِيبَهُ. حَيْثُ خَرَجَتْ لَهُ ٱلْقُرْعَةُ فَهُنَاكَ يَكُونُ لَهُ. حَسَبَ أَسْبَاطِ آبَائِكُمْ تَقْتَسِمُونَ. |
| BSB 55 But if you do not drive out the inhabitants of the land before you, those you allow to remain will become barbs in your eyes and thorns in your sides; they will harass you in the land where you settle. | SVD 55 وَإِنْ لَمْ تَطْرُدُوا سُكَّانَ ٱلْأَرْضِ مِنْ أَمَامِكُمْ يَكُونُ ٱلَّذِينَ تَسْتَبْقُونَ مِنْهُمْ أَشْوَاكًا فِي أَعْيُنِكُمْ، وَمَنَاخِسَ فِي جَوَانِبِكُمْ، وَيُضَايِقُونَكُمْ عَلَى ٱلْأَرْضِ ٱلَّتِي أَنْتُمْ سَاكِنُونَ فِيهَا. |
