Revelation 3

1 “To the angel of the church in Sardis write: These are the words of the One who holds the seven spirits of God and the seven stars. I know your deeds; you have a reputation for being alive, yet you are dead.

1 “Ao anjo da igreja em Sardes escreva esta carta: “Esta mensagem é enviada a você por aquele que tem os sete espíritos de Deus e as sete estrelas. “Eu conheço as suas obras; você tem a fama de igreja viva e ativa, mas está morta.

2 Wake up and strengthen what remains, which is about to die; for I have found your deeds incomplete in the sight of My God.

2 Portanto, acorde! Fortaleça o pouco que resta, porque até mesmo o que restou está a ponto de morrer. As suas obras estão longe de ser corretas aos olhos de Deus.

3 Remember, then, what you have received and heard. Keep it and repent. If you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know the hour when I will come upon you.

3 Volte ao que você ouviu e creu no princípio; retenha-o firmemente e volte-se para mim outra vez. Se não o fizer, eu virei subitamente a você, sem ser esperado, como um ladrão, e o castigarei.

4 But you do have a few people in Sardis who have not soiled their garments, and because they are worthy, they will walk with Me in white.

4 “Todavia, mesmo aí em Sardes alguns não mancharam suas roupas com a imundícia do mundo; eles andarão comigo vestidos de branco, porque são dignos.

5 Like them, he who overcomes will be dressed in white. And I will never blot out his name from the Book of Life, but I will confess his name before My Father and His angels.

5 Todo aquele que vencer será vestido de branco, eu não apagarei o nome dele do Livro da Vida e o reconhecerei diante do meu Pai e dos seus anjos.

6 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.

6 “Que todo aquele que pode ouvir ouça o que o Espírito está dizendo às igrejas.

7 To the angel of the church in Philadelphia write: These are the words of the One who is holy and true, who holds the key of David. What He opens no one can shut, and what He shuts no one can open.

7 “Ao anjo da igreja em Filadélfia escreva esta carta: “Esta mensagem é enviada a você por aquele que é santo e verdadeiro, que tem a chave de Davi para abrir o que ninguém pode fechar e fechar o que ninguém pode abrir.

8 I know your deeds. Behold, I have placed before you an open door, which no one can shut. I know that you have only a little strength, yet you have kept My word and have not denied My name.

8 “Conheço bem as suas obras! Você não é forte, mas tem procurado obedecer à minha palavra e não tem negado o meu nome. Portanto, eu lhe abri uma porta que ninguém pode fechar.

9 As for those who belong to the synagogue of Satan, who claim to be Jews but are liars instead, I will make them come and bow down at your feet, and they will know that I love you.

9 “Veja o que eu farei com todos aqueles que sustentam as causas de Satanás enquanto afirmam ser judeus, mas não são; eles são mentirosos. Farei com que caiam aos seus pés e reconheçam que é você aquele que eu amo.

10 Because you have kept My command to persevere, I will also keep you from the hour of testing that is about to come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.

10 “Pelo fato de que você me obedeceu com perseverança apesar da perseguição, eu o protegerei do tempo do grande sofrimento e provação que virá sobre o mundo para pôr à prova todos os habitantes da terra.

11 I am coming soon. Hold fast to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.

11 Atenção, eu volto logo! Guarde firmemente o que você tem, para que ninguém tome a sua coroa.

12 The one who overcomes I will make a pillar in the temple of My God, and he will never again leave it. Upon him I will write the name of My God, and the name of the city of My God (the new Jerusalem that comes down out of heaven from My God), and My new name.

12 “Quanto àquele que vencer, eu o farei uma coluna no templo do meu Deus; ele estará firme, e não sairá mais; e eu escreverei nele o nome do meu Deus, e será cidadão na cidade do meu Deus, a nova Jerusalém, que desce do céu vinda do meu Deus; e terá o meu novo nome gravado nele.

13 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.

13 “Que todo aquele que pode ouvir ouça o que o Espírito está dizendo às igrejas.

14 To the angel of the church in Laodicea write: These are the words of the Amen, the faithful and true Witness, the Originator of God’s creation.

14 “Ao anjo da igreja de Laodiceia escreva esta carta: “Esta mensagem vem daquele que permanece firme, a testemunha fiel e verdadeira, a fonte primitiva da criação de Deus:

15 I know your deeds; you are neither cold nor hot. How I wish you were one or the other!

15 “Eu conheço bem as suas obras, sei que você não é quente nem frio; eu desejaria que você fosse ou uma coisa ou outra!

16 So because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to vomit you out of My mouth!

16 Porém já que você é meramente morno, eu estou a ponto de cuspir você da minha boca!

17 You say, ‘I am rich; I have grown wealthy and need nothing.’ But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind, and naked.

17 “Você diz: ‘Eu sou rico, tenho tudo o que necessito; não preciso de coisa alguma’. E não percebe que espiritualmente você é um desgraçado, um miserável, um pobre, cego e nu.

18 I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined by fire so that you may become rich, white garments so that you may be clothed and your shameful nakedness not exposed, and salve to anoint your eyes so that you may see.

18 “O meu conselho a você é que compre de mim ouro puro, ouro purificado pelo fogo — só então você será verdadeiramente rico. E que adquira de mim vestes brancas, limpas e puras, para cobrir a sua vergonha e nudez; e compre de mim remédio para curar os seus olhos e devolver-lhe a sua vista.

19 Those I love I rebuke and discipline. Therefore be earnest and repent.

19 Eu corrijo e disciplino todo aquele a quem amo; portanto, abandone a sua indiferença e se torne um entusiasta das coisas de Deus.

20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in and dine with him, and he with Me.

20 “Atenção! Eu tenho permanecido à porta e estou batendo constantemente. Se alguém ouvir a minha voz e abrir a porta, eu entrarei e farei companhia a ele, e ele a mim.

21 To the one who overcomes, I will grant the right to sit with Me on My throne, just as I overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.

21 E permitirei que cada um que vencer se sente ao meu lado no meu trono, assim como eu ocupei o meu lugar com o meu Pai em seu trono quando me tornei vencedor.

22 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”

22 Que todo aquele que pode ouvir ouça o que o Espírito está dizendo às igrejas”.
