Zechariah 4

1 Then the angel who was speaking with me returned and woke me, as a man is awakened from his sleep.

1 फिर वह स्वर्गदूत जिसने मुझसे बातें की थी, लौट आया और मुझे ऐसा जगाया, जैसे किसी को नींद से जगाया जाता है.

2 “What do you see?” he asked. “I see a solid gold lampstand,” I replied, “with a bowl at the top and seven lamps on it, with seven spouts to the lamps.

2 उसने मुझसे प्रश्न किया, “तुम्हें क्या दिखाई दे रहा है?” मैंने उत्तर दिया, “मुझे एक ठोस सोने का दीवट दिखाई दे रहा है जिसके चोटी पर एक कटोरा है जिसमें सात दीये हैं, और दीयों पर बाती के लिए सात-सात नालियां हैं.

3 There are also two olive trees beside it, one on the right side of the bowl and the other on its left.”

3 दीवट के पास दो जैतून के पेड़ भी हैं, एक कटोरे के दायीं ओर तथा दूसरा उसके बायीं ओर.”

4 “What are these, my lord?” I asked the angel who was speaking with me.

4 जो स्वर्गदूत मुझसे बातें कर रहा था, मैंने उससे पूछा, “हे मेरे प्रभु, ये सब क्या हैं?”

5 “Do you not know what they are?” replied the angel. “No, my lord,” I answered.

5 उसने उत्तर दिया, “क्या तुम नहीं जानते कि ये क्या हैं?” मैंने उत्तर दिया, “हे मेरे प्रभु, नहीं.”

6 So he said to me, “This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel: Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit, says the LORD of Hosts.

6 अतः स्वर्गदूत ने मुझसे कहा, “यह ज़ेरुब्बाबेल के लिये याहवेह का वचन है: ‘न तो बल से और न ही शक्ति से, पर मेरे आत्मा के द्वारा,’ सर्वशक्तिमान याहवेह का कहना है.

7 What are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you will become a plain. Then he will bring forth the capstone accompanied by shouts of ‘Grace, grace to it!’”

7 “हे विशाल पहाड़, क्या हो तुम? ज़ेरुब्बाबेल के सामने तुम समतल मैदान बन जाओगे. तब वह चोटी के पत्थर को यह चिल्लाते हुए ले आएगा, ‘परमेश्वर इसे आशीष दे! परमेश्वर इसे आशीष दे!’”

8 Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

8 इसके बाद याहवेह का यह वचन मेरे पास आया:

9 “The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house, and his hands will complete it. Then you will know that the LORD of Hosts has sent me to you.

9 “ज़ेरुब्बाबेल ने अपने हाथों से इस मंदिर की नींव डाली है; और उसी के द्वारा यह काम पूरा होगा. तब तुम जानोगे कि सर्वशक्तिमान याहवेह ने मुझे तुम्हारे पास भेजा है.

10 For who has despised the day of small things? But these seven eyes of the LORD, which scan the whole earth, will rejoice when they see the plumb line in the hand of Zerubbabel.”

10 “कौन है जो छोटी बातों के दिन को तुच्छ समझता है, जबकि याहवेह की सात आंखें जो सारी पृथ्वी पर नजर रखती हैं, जब वे यह देखेंगी कि चुना हुआ चोटी का पत्थर ज़ेरुब्बाबेल के हाथ में है, तो वे आनंदित होंगी?”

11 Then I asked the angel, “What are the two olive trees on the right and left of the lampstand?”

11 तब मैंने स्वर्गदूत से पूछा, “ये जैतून के दो पेड़ों का मतलब क्या है, जो दीवट के दायीं और बायीं तरफ हैं?”

12 And I questioned him further, “What are the two olive branches beside the two gold pipes from which the golden oil pours?”

12 मैंने उससे फिर पूछा, “दो सोने के नलियों के बाजू में जैतून की ये दो शाखायें क्या हैं जो सुनहरा तेल उंडेलती हैं?”

13 “Do you not know what these are?” he inquired. “No, my lord,” I replied.

13 स्वर्गदूत ने उत्तर दिया, “क्या तुम नहीं जानते कि ये क्या हैं?” मैंने कहा, “हे मेरे प्रभु, नहीं.”

14 So he said, “These are the two anointed ones who are standing beside the Lord of all the earth.”

14 तब उसने कहा, “ये दो वे हैं जिन्हें सारी पृथ्वी के प्रभु की सेवा करने के लिये अभिषेक किया गया है.”
