1 Chronicles 17

1 After David had settled into his palace, he said to Nathan the prophet, “Here I am, living in a house of cedar, while the ark of the covenant of the LORD is under a tent.”

1 大卫住进宫殿后，对拿单先知说：“你看，我住在香柏木建的王宫中，耶和华的约柜却还在帐幕里。”

2 And Nathan replied to David, “Do all that is in your heart, for God is with you.”

2 拿单对大卫说：“你有什么想法，就去做吧！因为上帝与你同在。”

3 But that night the word of God came to Nathan, saying,

3 当晚，上帝对拿单说：

4 “Go and tell My servant David that this is what the LORD says: You are not the one to build Me a house in which to dwell.

4 “你去告诉我的仆人大卫，‘耶和华说，你不可建造殿宇给我居住。’

5 For I have not dwelt in a house from the day I brought Israel up out of Egypt until this day, but I have moved from tent to tent and dwelling to dwelling.

5 从我把以色列人带出埃及那天起，直到今天，我从未住过殿宇，都住在四处迁移的帐幕里。

6 In all My journeys with all the Israelites, have I ever asked any of the leaders I appointed to shepherd My people, ‘Why haven’t you built Me a house of cedar?’

6 在我与以色列人同行的日子，我从未责问任何我委派牧养我子民的士师，‘你为何不为我建香柏木的殿宇呢？’

7 Now then, you are to tell My servant David that this is what the LORD of Hosts says: I took you from the pasture, from following the flock, to be the ruler over My people Israel.

7 “现在你要告诉我的仆人大卫，‘万军之耶和华说：你原本在草场牧羊，我召你来做我以色列子民的首领。

8 I have been with you wherever you have gone, and I have cut off all your enemies from before you. Now I will make for you a name like that of the greatest in the land.

8 无论你去哪里，我都与你同在，为你铲除所有仇敌。现在我要使你声名远扬，与世上的伟人齐名。

9 And I will provide a place for My people Israel and will plant them so that they may dwell in a place of their own and be disturbed no more. No longer will the sons of wickedness oppress them as they did at the beginning

9–10 我必为我的以色列子民预备一个地方，栽培他们，使他们住在自己的家园，不再受惊扰，不会像从前我设立士师治理他们的时候那样受恶人压迫。我必使你安定，免受仇敌的侵扰，我耶和华向你宣告，我必为你建立王朝。

10 and have done since the day I appointed judges over My people Israel. And I will subdue all your enemies. Moreover, I declare to you that the LORD will build a house for you.

11 And when your days are fulfilled and you go to be with your fathers, I will raise up your descendant after you, one of your own sons, and I will establish his kingdom.

11 你离世归祖时，我必兴起你亲生的后裔接替你，使他的国稳固。

12 He will build a house for Me, and I will establish his throne forever.

12 他要为我建造殿宇，我必坚立他的王位，直到永远。

13 I will be his Father, and he will be My son. And I will never remove My loving devotion from him as I removed it from your predecessor.

13 我要做他的父亲，他要做我的儿子。我的慈爱曾离开在你之前的那位，但我的慈爱必不离开他。

14 But I will set him over My house and My kingdom forever, and his throne will be established forever.”

14 我要使他永远治理我的家和我的国。他的王位必永远稳固。’”

15 So Nathan relayed to David all the words of this entire revelation.

15 拿单就把所听到的启示全部告诉大卫。

16 Then King David went in, sat before the LORD, and said, “Who am I, O LORD God, and what is my house, that You have brought me this far?

16 于是，大卫王进去，在耶和华面前坐下，说：“耶和华上帝啊，我是谁？我的家算什么？你竟这样厚待我。

17 And as if this was a small thing in Your eyes, O God, You have spoken about the future of the house of Your servant and have regarded me as a man of great distinction, O LORD God.

17 上帝啊，在你眼中这还不够，你还说到仆人家的将来。耶和华上帝啊，你视我为尊贵的人。

18 What more can David say to You for honoring Your servant? For You know Your servant,

18 你将尊荣加于仆人，大卫还能对你说什么呢？因为你深知你的仆人。

19 O LORD. For the sake of Your servant and according to Your own heart, You have accomplished this great thing and made known all these great promises.

19 耶和华啊，你按照自己的心意为仆人成就这大事，以显明这一切伟大之事。

20 O LORD, there is none like You, and there is no God but You, according to everything we have heard with our own ears.

20 耶和华啊，我们从未听过有谁能与你相比，你是独一无二的上帝。

21 And who is like Your people Israel—the one nation on earth whom God went out to redeem as a people for Himself? You made a name for Yourself through great and awesome wonders by driving out nations from before Your people, whom You redeemed from Egypt.

21 世上哪个民族比得上你的以色列子民呢？你从埃及救赎他们，让他们做你的子民，行伟大而可畏的事，把外族人从他们面前赶走，以彰显你的大名。

22 For You have made Your people Israel Your very own forever, and You, O LORD, have become their God.

22 你让以色列人永远做你的子民，你耶和华做他们的上帝。

23 And now, O LORD, let the word You have spoken concerning Your servant and his house be established forever. Do as You have promised,

23 “耶和华啊，求你永远信守你对仆人和仆人家的应许，求你成就你的应许。

24 so that Your name will be established and magnified forever when it is said, ‘The LORD of Hosts, the God of Israel, is God over Israel.’ And may the house of Your servant David be established before You.

24 这样，你的名必永远坚立，被尊崇，人们必说，‘以色列的上帝——万军之耶和华是以色列的上帝’，你仆人大卫的家必在你面前坚立。

25 For You, my God, have revealed to Your servant that You will build a house for him. Therefore Your servant has found the courage to pray before You.

25 我的上帝啊，因为你曾启示仆人，说要为仆人建立王朝，仆人才敢这样向你祈祷。

26 And now, O LORD, You are God! And You have promised this goodness to Your servant.

26 耶和华啊，唯有你是上帝，你应许要将这福气赐给仆人。

27 So now You have been pleased to bless the house of Your servant, that it may continue forever before You. For You, O LORD, have blessed it, and it will be blessed forever.”

27 愿你赐福给仆人家，使仆人家在你面前永续不断。耶和华啊，你已赐下祝福，你的祝福是永远的！”
