Amos 2

1 This is what the LORD says: “For three transgressions of Moab, even four, I will not revoke My judgment, because he burned to lime the bones of Edom’s king.

1 耶和华说： “摩押人三番四次地犯罪， 我必不收回对他们的惩罚， 因为他们把以东王的骸骨焚烧成灰。

2 So I will send fire against Moab to consume the citadels of Kerioth. Moab will die in tumult, amid war cries and the sound of the ram’s horn.

2 所以，我要降火在摩押， 烧毁加略的城堡。 摩押要在战争的喧嚣、呐喊和号角声中灭亡。

3 I will cut off the ruler of Moab and kill all the officials with him,” says the LORD.

3 我要铲除摩押的首领， 杀死那里所有的官长。 这是耶和华说的。”

4 This is what the LORD says: “For three transgressions of Judah, even four, I will not revoke My judgment, because they reject the Law of the LORD and fail to keep His statutes; they are led astray by the lies in which their fathers walked.

4 耶和华说： “犹大人三番四次地犯罪， 我必不收回对他们的惩罚， 因为他们厌弃耶和华的训诲， 不遵守我的律例。 他们祖先祭拜的偶像使他们走入歧途。

5 So I will send fire upon Judah to consume the citadels of Jerusalem.”

5 所以，我要降火在犹大， 烧毁耶路撒冷的城堡。”

6 This is what the LORD says: “For three transgressions of Israel, even four, I will not revoke My judgment, because they sell the righteous for silver and the needy for a pair of sandals.

6 耶和华说： “以色列人三番四次地犯罪， 我必不收回对他们的惩罚， 因为他们为了银子卖掉义人， 为了一双鞋卖掉穷人。

7 They trample on the heads of the poor as on the dust of the earth; they push the needy out of their way. A man and his father have relations with the same girl and so profane My holy name.

7 他们践踏穷人如同践踏地上的尘土， 使卑微的人无处申冤； 父子同淫一女，亵渎我的圣名。

8 They lie down beside every altar on garments taken in pledge. And in the house of their God, they drink wine obtained through fines.

8 在每座祭坛旁边， 他们把穷人抵押的衣服铺开，躺在上面， 又在上帝的殿里喝剥削来的酒。

9 Yet it was I who destroyed the Amorite before them, though his height was like that of the cedars, and he was as strong as the oaks. Yet I destroyed his fruit above and his roots below.

9 “以色列人啊， 我在你们面前消灭了亚摩利人。 虽然他们像香柏树那样高大， 如橡树那样强壮， 但我灭尽了他们上面的果子， 砍断了他们下面的根。

10 And I brought you up from the land of Egypt and led you forty years in the wilderness, that you might take possession of the land of the Amorite.

10 我曾带你们出埃及， 在旷野引导你们四十年， 使你们得到亚摩利人的土地。

11 I raised up prophets from your sons and Nazirites from your young men. Is this not true, O children of Israel?” declares the LORD.

11 我从你们的子孙中兴起先知， 从你们的青年中兴起拿细耳人 。 以色列人啊，难道不是这样吗？ 这是耶和华说的。

12 “But you made the Nazirites drink wine and commanded the prophets not to prophesy.

12 可是，你们迫使拿细耳人喝酒， 禁止先知说预言。

13 Behold, I am about to crush you in your place as with a cart full of grain.

13 看啊，我要压碎你们， 如满载谷物的车轧过一样。

14 Escape will fail the swift, the strong will not prevail by his strength, and the mighty will not save his life.

14 快捷的无法逃遁， 强壮的无力可使， 勇猛的救不了自己，

15 The archer will not stand his ground, the fleet of foot will not escape, and the horseman will not save his life.

15 拉弓的站立不住， 腿快的无法逃脱， 骑马的不能自救。

16 Even the bravest of mighty men will flee naked on that day,” declares the LORD.

16 到那日，最勇猛的战士也要赤身逃命。 这是耶和华说的。
