Ezekiel 13

1 Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

1 याहवेह का यह वचन मेरे पास आया:

2 “Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel who are now prophesying. Tell those who prophesy out of their own imagination: Hear the word of the LORD!

2 “हे मनुष्य के पुत्र, इस्राएल के उन भविष्यवक्ताओं के विरुद्ध भविष्यवाणी करो, जो इस समय भविष्यवाणी कर रहे हैं. उनसे कहो जो अपने ही मन से भविष्यवाणी करते हैं: ‘याहवेह का वचन सुनो!

3 This is what the Lord GOD says: Woe to the foolish prophets who follow their own spirit yet have seen nothing.

3 परम प्रधान याहवेह का यह कहना है: धिक्कार है उन मूर्ख भविष्यवक्ताओं पर, जो अपने ही मन के अनुसार चलते हैं और उन्होंने कुछ नहीं देखा है!

4 Your prophets, O Israel, are like foxes among the ruins.

4 हे इस्राएल, तुम्हारे भविष्यवक्ता खंडहरों के सियार के समान हैं.

5 You did not go up to the gaps or restore the wall around the house of Israel so that it would stand in the battle on the Day of the LORD.

5 तुम इस्राएल के लोगों के लिये दीवार के दरारों को सुधारने के लिये ऊपर नहीं गए हो ताकि याहवेह के दिन युद्ध में यह मजबूत बना रहे.

6 They see false visions and speak lying divinations. They claim, ‘Thus declares the LORD,’ when the LORD did not send them; yet they wait for the fulfillment of their message.

6 उनके दर्शन और उनके भविष्य की बातें झूठी हैं. यद्यपि याहवेह ने उन्हें नहीं भेजा है, फिर भी वे कहते हैं, “याहवेह की यह घोषणा है,” और आशा करते हैं कि याहवेह उनकी भविष्यवाणी को पूरा करे.

7 Haven’t you seen a false vision and spoken a lying divination when you proclaim, ‘Thus declares the LORD,’ even though I have not spoken?

7 क्या तुमने झूठे दर्शन नहीं देखें और भविष्य की झूठी बातें नहीं कहीं, जब तुमने यह कहा, “याहवेह की यह घोषणा है,” हालाकि मैंने नहीं कहा था?

8 Therefore this is what the Lord GOD says: Because you have uttered vain words and seen false visions, I am against you, declares the Lord GOD.

8 “ ‘इसलिये परम प्रधान याहवेह का यह कहना है: तुम्हारी झूठी बातों और तुम्हारे झूठे दर्शनों के कारण, मैं तुम्हारे विरुद्ध हूं, परम प्रधान याहवेह की यह घोषणा है.

9 My hand will be against the prophets who see false visions and speak lying divinations. They will not belong to the council of My people or be recorded in the register of the house of Israel, nor will they enter the land of Israel. Then you will know that I am the Lord GOD.

9 मेरा हाथ उन भविष्यवक्ताओं के विरुद्ध उठेगा, जो झूठे दर्शन देखते तथा भविष्य की झूठी बातें बताते हैं, वे मेरे लोगों के समूह में नहीं होंगे या इस्राएल की सूची में उनका नाम लिखा नहीं जाएगा, और न ही वे इस्राएल देश में प्रवेश कर पाएंगे. तब तुम जानोगे कि मैं परम प्रधान याहवेह हूं.

10 Because they have led My people astray, saying, ‘Peace,’ when there is no peace, and whitewashing any flimsy wall that is built,

10 “ ‘क्योंकि वे मेरे लोगों को यह कहकर भटकाते हैं, “सब ठीक है,” जबकि कुछ भी ठीक नहीं होता, और फिर जब एक कमजोर दीवार बनाई जाती है, तो वे उस पर चूना पोत देते हैं,

11 tell those whitewashing the wall that it will fall. Rain will come in torrents, I will send hailstones plunging down, and a windstorm will burst forth.

11 इसलिये जो इस पर चूना पोत देते हैं, उनसे कहो कि यह गिर जाएगी. मूसलाधार वर्षा होगी, और मैं ओलावृष्टि करूंगा, जो दीवार को गिरा देगी, और भयंकर आंधी चलेगी.

12 Surely when the wall has fallen, you will not be asked, ‘Where is the whitewash with which you covered it?’

12 जब दीवार गिर जाएगी, तो क्या लोग तुमसे यह नहीं पूछेंगे, “तुम जो चूना पोते थे, वह कहां गया?”

13 Therefore this is what the Lord GOD says: In My wrath I will release a windstorm, and in My anger torrents of rain and hail will fall with destructive fury.

13 “ ‘इसलिये परम प्रधान याहवेह का यह कहना है: मैं अपने कोप में भयंकर आंधी लाऊंगा, और अपने क्रोध में भयंकर विनाश के साथ ओलावृष्टि और मूसलाधार वर्षा कराऊंगा.

14 I will tear down the wall you whitewashed and level it to the ground, so that its foundation is exposed. The city will fall, and you will be destroyed within it. Then you will know that I am the LORD.

14 मैं उस दीवार को तोड़ डालूंगा, जिस पर तुमने चूना पोता है और इसे मिट्टी में मिला दूंगा ताकि इसकी नीव खाली पड़ी रहे. जब यह गिरेगी, तो तुम भी इसके साथ नाश हो जाओगे; और तब तुम जानोगे कि मैं याहवेह हूं.

15 And after I have vented My wrath against the wall and against those who whitewashed it, I will say to you: ‘The wall is gone, and so are those who whitewashed it—

15 इस प्रकार मेरा कोप उस दीवार पर और उन पर भड़केगा, जिन्होंने उस पर चूना पोत दिया था. तब मैं तुमसे कहूंगा, “दीवार नष्ट हो गई और वैसे ही वे भी नष्ट हो गये, जिन्होंने इस पर चूना पोत दिया था,

16 those prophets of Israel who prophesied to Jerusalem and saw a vision of peace for her when there was no peace, declares the Lord GOD.’

16 अर्थात् इस्राएल के वे भविष्यवक्ता नष्ट हो गये, जो येरूशलेम के विषय में भविष्यवाणी करते और उसकी शांति का दर्शन देखते थे, जबकि वहां किसी भी प्रकार की शांति नहीं थी, परम प्रधान याहवेह की यह घोषणा है.”’

17 Now, O son of man, set your face against the daughters of your people who prophesy out of their own imagination. Prophesy against them

17 “हे मनुष्य के पुत्र, अब, तुम अपना मुंह अपने लोगों की उन बेटियों के विरुद्ध खोलो, जो अपने ही मन से भविष्यवाणी करती हैं. तुम उनके विरुद्ध भविष्यवाणी करो

18 and tell them that this is what the Lord GOD says: Woe to the women who sew magic charms on their wrists and make veils for the heads of people of every height, in order to ensnare their souls. Will you ensnare the souls of My people but preserve your own?

18 और कहो, ‘परम प्रधान याहवेह का यह कहना है: धिक्कार है उन स्त्रियों पर, जो अपनी कलाइयों पर जादू की ताबीज़ बांधती और लोगों को फंसाने हेतु अपने सिर के लिये विभिन्‍न लंबाई के घूंघट बनाती हैं. क्या तुम मेरे लोगों के प्राण को खतरे में डालोगी और अपने स्वयं को बचाकर रखोगी?

19 You have profaned Me among My people for handfuls of barley and scraps of bread. By lying to My people who would listen, you have killed those who should not have died and spared those who should not have lived.

19 तुमने मुट्ठी भर जौ और रोटी के कुछ टुकड़ों के लिए मेरे लोगों के बीच मुझे अपवित्र किया है. मेरे वे लोग जो झूठी बातें सुनते हैं, उनसे झूठी बातें करके तुमने उन लोगों को मार डाला है जिन्हें ज़िंदा रहना था और तुमने उनको छोड़ दिया है जिन्हें ज़िंदा नहीं रहना था.

20 Therefore this is what the Lord GOD says: See, I am against the magic charms with which you ensnare souls like birds, and I will tear them from your arms. So I will free the souls you have ensnared like birds.

20 “ ‘इसलिये परम प्रधान याहवेह का यह कहना है: मैं तुम्हारे जादू के उन ताबीज़ों के विरुद्ध हूं जिससे तुम लोगों को चिड़िया की तरह फंसाती हो; मैं तुम्हारे बांह के उन ताबीज़ों को तोड़ डालूंगा; मैं उन लोगों को स्वतंत्र कर दूंगा, जिन्हें तुम चिड़ियों की तरह फंसाती हो.

21 I will also tear off your veils and deliver My people from your hands, so that they will no longer be prey in your hands. Then you will know that I am the LORD.

21 मैं तुम्हारे घूंघट को भी फाड़ दूंगा और अपने लोगों को तुम्हारे हाथ से बचाऊंगा, और वे फिर कभी तुम्हारे वश में न होंगे. तब तुम जानोगी कि मैं याहवेह हूं.

22 Because you have disheartened the righteous with your lies, even though I have caused them no grief, and because you have encouraged the wicked not to turn from their evil ways to save their lives,

22 क्योंकि तुमने अपनी झूठी बातों से धर्मी लोगों को निराश किया है, जबकि मैं उन पर कोई दुःख तकलीफ़ नहीं लाया, और क्योंकि तुमने दुष्ट लोगों को बुरे काम न छोड़ने के लिये उत्साहित किया है और ऐसा करके उनके प्राण को बचाया है,

23 therefore you will no longer see false visions or practice divination. I will deliver My people from your hands. Then you will know that I am the LORD.”

23 इसलिये अब तुम न तो झूठे दर्शन देख सकोगी और न ही भविष्य की झूठी बातें कह सकोगी. मैं अपने लोगों को तुम्हारे हाथ से बचाऊंगा. और तब तुम जानोगी कि मैं याहवेह हूं.’”
