Ezekiel 34

1 Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

1 Recebi nova mensagem do Senhor que dizia:

2 “Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel. Prophesy and tell them that this is what the Lord GOD says: ‘Woe to the shepherds of Israel, who only feed themselves! Should not the shepherds feed their flock?

2 “Filho do homem, profetize contra os pastores de Israel. Diga o seguinte: Assim diz o Soberano, o Senhor: Ai dos pastores de Israel que cuidam apenas de si mesmos. Não deveriam eles cuidar das ovelhas?

3 You eat the fat, wear the wool, and butcher the fattened sheep, but you do not feed the flock.

3 Vocês comem a coalhada, matam as melhores ovelhas, comem a carne e usam a lã para fazer belas roupas, mas não cuidam do rebanho.

4 You have not strengthened the weak, healed the sick, bound up the injured, brought back the strays, or searched for the lost. Instead, you have ruled them with violence and cruelty.

4 Vocês não cuidaram da ovelha fraca, não curaram as doentes e machucadas, não trouxeram de volta as ovelhas que se afastaram do rebanho, nem foram procurar as ovelhas perdidas. E, além de tudo isso, dominam o rebanho pela força, com muita violência.

5 They were scattered for lack of a shepherd, and when they were scattered they became food for all the wild beasts.

5 Por falta de pastores, as ovelhas se espalharam pelo campo, ficaram perdidas e foram devoradas pelos animais ferozes.

6 My flock went astray on all the mountains and every high hill. They were scattered over the face of all the earth, with no one to search for them or seek them out.’

6 As minhas ovelhas andam espalhadas e perdidas pelos montes e morros da terra. Elas andam perdidas e não há ninguém para procurar e reunir o meu rebanho.

7 Therefore, you shepherds, hear the word of the LORD:

7 “Por isso, pastores, ouçam a palavra do Senhor:

8 ‘As surely as I live, declares the Lord GOD, because My flock lacks a shepherd and has become prey and food for every wild beast, and because My shepherds did not search for My flock but fed themselves instead,

8 Juro pela minha vida, palavra do Soberano, o Senhor: Por não terem pastor, as minhas ovelhas foram roubadas por estranhos e devoradas pelas feras. E visto que os meus pastores não se preocupam com o meu rebanho, mas cuidam de si mesmos em vez de cuidarem do rebanho,

9 therefore, you shepherds, hear the word of the LORD!’

9 ouçam a palavra do Senhor, pastores:

10 This is what the Lord GOD says: ‘Behold, I am against the shepherds, and I will demand from them My flock and remove them from tending the flock, so that they can no longer feed themselves. For I will deliver My flock from their mouths, and it will no longer be food for them.’

10 Assim diz o Soberano, o Senhor: De agora em diante eu serei inimigo dos pastores. Pedirei contas de todas as minhas ovelhas a vocês. Não deixarei que continuem como pastores. Livrarei o meu rebanho da sua boca. Não deixarei que se alimentem das minhas ovelhas.

11 For this is what the Lord GOD says: ‘Behold, I Myself will search for My flock and seek them out.

11 “Assim diz o Soberano, o Senhor: Eu mesmo vou procurar e encontrar minhas ovelhas e vou cuidar delas.

12 As a shepherd looks for his scattered sheep when he is among the flock, so I will look for My flock. I will rescue them from all the places to which they were scattered on a day of clouds and darkness.

12 Farei como o pastor que procura as ovelhas perdidas de seu rebanho. Tomarei conta das minhas ovelhas. Resgatarei minhas ovelhas de todos os lugares por onde elas foram espalhadas no dia de nuvens e escuridão.

13 I will bring them out from the peoples, gather them from the countries, and bring them into their own land. I will feed them on the mountains of Israel, in the ravines, and in all the settlements of the land.

13 Tirarei o meu rebanho do meio dos povos, reunirei as minhas ovelhas que se acham espalhadas pelas nações, e depois reunirei todas elas em sua própria terra novamente. Cuidarei delas pessoalmente sobre os montes de Israel, junto aos riachos mansos onde a terra é boa, e em todos os povoados.

14 I will feed them in good pasture, and the lofty mountains of Israel will be their grazing land. There they will lie down in a good grazing land; they will feed in rich pasture on the mountains of Israel.

14 Darei às minhas ovelhas bons pastos nos montes verdes de Israel. Lá elas se deitarão, tranquilas e bem alimentadas, tendo sempre pastos ricos.

15 I will tend My flock and make them lie down, declares the Lord GOD.

15 Eu mesmo tomarei conta das minhas ovelhas. Eu mesmo lhes darei descanso. Palavra do Soberano, o Senhor.

16 I will seek the lost, bring back the strays, bind up the broken, and strengthen the weak; but the sleek and strong I will destroy. I will shepherd them with justice.’

16 Procurarei a ovelha perdida, trarei de volta a ovelha que se afastou do rebanho, curarei a ovelha machucada e cuidarei da ovelha doente. Mas destruirei as ovelhas gordas e fortes. Cuidarei do rebanho com justiça.

17 This is what the Lord GOD says to you, My flock: ‘I will judge between one sheep and another, between the rams and the goats.

17 “E quanto a você, meu rebanho, assim diz o Soberano, o Senhor: Julgarei entre uma ovelha e outra. Também vou separar os carneiros dos bodes.

18 Is it not enough for you to feed on the good pasture? Must you also trample the rest of the pasture with your feet? Is it not enough for you to drink the clear waters? Must you also muddy the rest with your feet?

18 Vocês, ovelhas e carneiros fortes, não se contentam com o bom capim? Precisam amassar com as patas o resto do pasto? Não é suficiente beber a água mais pura e fresca? Também precisam sujar a água com as patas?

19 Why must My flock feed on what your feet have trampled, and drink what your feet have muddied?’

19 As minhas ovelhas são obrigadas a comer o capim amassado que vocês deixaram; são obrigadas a beber a água que vocês sujaram com as patas.

20 Therefore this is what the Lord GOD says to them: ‘Behold, I Myself will judge between the fat sheep and the lean sheep.

20 “Por isso, assim diz o Soberano, o Senhor: Certamente farei separação entre as ovelhas fortes e fracas.

21 Since you shove with flank and shoulder, butting all the weak ones with your horns until you have scattered them abroad,

21 Vocês, ovelhas fortes, empurram e chifram as ovelhas fracas até elas fugirem e se perderem.

22 I will save My flock, and they will no longer be prey. I will judge between one sheep and another.

22 Por isso, eu mesmo livrarei as minhas ovelhas. Elas não servirão mais de alimento para as feras. Além disso, julgarei entre uma ovelha e outra.

23 I will appoint over them one shepherd, My servant David, and he will feed them. He will feed them and be their shepherd.

23 Darei às minhas ovelhas um pastor especial. Ele cuidará delas e lhes dará alimento. Esse pastor será o meu servo, o rei Davi.

24 I, the LORD, will be their God, and My servant David will be a prince among them. I, the LORD, have spoken.

24 Eu, o Senhor, serei o seu Deus, e o meu servo Davi será o seu governador. Eu, o Senhor, falei!

25 I will make with them a covenant of peace and rid the land of wild animals, so that they may dwell securely in the wilderness and sleep in the forest.

25 “Farei uma aliança de paz com elas; acabarei com os animais ferozes da terra. Minhas ovelhas poderão viver em segurança no deserto e dormir nos bosques e florestas.

26 I will make them and the places around My hill a blessing. I will send down showers in season—showers of blessing.

26 Farei das minhas ovelhas e dos lugares próximos ao meu monte uma bênção; farei as chuvas caírem na época certa, e serão chuvas de bênçãos.

27 The trees of the field will give their fruit, and the land will yield its produce; My flock will be secure in their land. Then they will know that I am the LORD, when I have broken the bars of their yoke and delivered them from the hands that enslaved them.

27 As árvores darão os seus frutos e a terra produzirá muito alimento. Minhas ovelhas viverão em segurança na sua terra. Elas saberão que eu sou o Senhor, quando eu quebrar as correntes do seu jugo, quando libertar o meu rebanho das mãos daqueles que as escravizaram.

28 They will no longer be prey for the nations, and the beasts of the earth will not consume them. They will dwell securely, and no one will frighten them.

28 Não serão mais atacadas por outras nações, nem servirão de alimento aos animais ferozes. Habitarão seguras em sua terra e viverão em perfeita segurança; ninguém lhes causará medo.

29 And I will raise up for them a garden of renown, and they will no longer be victims of famine in the land or bear the scorn of the nations.

29 Eu lhes darei terras boas, e minhas ovelhas nunca mais passarão fome. Nunca mais serão envergonhadas por outras nações mais fortes!

30 Then they will know that I, the LORD their God, am with them, and that they, the house of Israel, are My people,’ declares the Lord GOD.

30 Elas saberão que eu, o Senhor, o seu Deus, estou bem junto delas, e que a nação de Israel é o meu povo. Palavra do Soberano, o Senhor.

31 ‘You are My flock, the sheep of My pasture, My people, and I am your God,’ declares the Lord GOD.”

31 Vocês, minhas ovelhas, ovelhas do meu pasto, vocês são o meu povo, e eu, eu sou o seu Deus. Palavra do Soberano, o Senhor”.
