Ezekiel 8

1 In the sixth year, on the fifth day of the sixth month, I was sitting in my house, and the elders of Judah were sitting before me; and there the hand of the Lord GOD fell upon me.

1 छठवें वर्ष के छठवें माह के पांचवें दिन, जब मैं अपने घर में बैठा हुआ था और यहूदिया के अगुए मेरे सामने बैठे हुए थे, तब वहां परम प्रधान याहवेह का हाथ मेरे ऊपर आया.

2 Then I looked and saw a figure like that of a man. From His waist down His appearance was like fire, and from His waist up He was as bright as the gleam of amber.

2 मैंने एक आकृति देखी, जो एक मनुष्य के जैसी थी. उसकी कमर से नीचे का रूप आग के जैसा था, और उसकी कमर के ऊपर का भाग चमकते धातु की तरह उजला था.

3 He stretched out what looked like a hand and took me by the hair of my head. Then the Spirit lifted me up between earth and heaven and carried me in visions of God to Jerusalem, to the entrance of the north gate of the inner court, where the idol that provokes jealousy was seated.

3 उसने अपने हाथ जैसे चीज़ को बढ़ाकर मेरे सिर के बाल को पकड़ लिया. तब आत्मा ने मुझे पृथ्वी और आकाश के बीच उठा लिया और परमेश्वर के दर्शन में वह मुझे येरूशलेम में भीतरी आंगन के उत्तर के द्वार के प्रवेश स्थल पर ले गया, जहां जलन की भावना उत्तेजित करनेवाली मूर्ति थी.

4 And there I saw the glory of the God of Israel, like the vision I had seen in the plain.

4 और वहां इस्राएल के परमेश्वर का वैसा ही तेज था, जैसा कि मैदान में दर्शन में देखा था.

5 “Son of man,” He said to me, “now lift up your eyes to the north.” So I lifted up my eyes to the north, and in the entrance north of the Altar Gate I saw this idol of jealousy.

5 तब उसने मुझसे कहा, “हे मनुष्य के पुत्र, उत्तर दिशा की ओर देखो.” अतः मैंने दृष्टि की, और वेदी के द्वार के उत्तर में प्रवेश स्थल पर मैंने जलन उपजानेवाली उस मूर्ति को देखा.

6 “Son of man,” He said to me, “do you see what they are doing—the great abominations that the house of Israel is committing—to drive Me far from My sanctuary? Yet you will see even greater abominations.”

6 और उसने मुझसे कहा, “हे मनुष्य के पुत्र, क्या तुम देख रहे हो कि वे क्या कर रहे हैं—इस्राएली लोग यहां बहुत ही घृणित काम कर रहे हैं, ऐसा काम जो मुझे मेरे पवित्र स्थान से दूर ले जाएगा? पर तुम इनसे भी ज्यादा घृणित काम देखोगे.”

7 Then He brought me to the entrance to the court, and I looked and saw a hole in the wall.

7 तब वह मुझे आंगन के प्रवेश स्थल पर ले आया. वहां मैंने देखा कि दीवार में एक छेद था.

8 “Son of man,” He told me, “dig through the wall.” So I dug through the wall and discovered a doorway.

8 उसने मुझे कहा, “हे मनुष्य के पुत्र, दीवार को फोड़ो.” इसलिये मैंने दीवार को फोड़ा और वहां मुझे एक प्रवेश द्वार दिखाई दिया.

9 Then He said to me, “Go in and see the wicked abominations they are committing here.”

9 तब उसने मुझसे कहा, “अंदर जाओ और जो दुष्ट और घृणित कार्य वे यहां कर रहे हैं, उसे देखो.”

10 So I went in and looked, and engraved all around the wall was every kind of crawling creature and detestable beast, along with all the idols of the house of Israel.

10 इसलिये मैं अंदर गया, और देखा कि दीवारों पर सब तरफ सब प्रकार के रेंगनेवाले जंतुओं और अशुद्ध पशुओं और इस्राएल के सब मूर्तियों के चित्र बनाए गये हैं.

11 Before them stood seventy elders of the house of Israel, with Jaazaniah son of Shaphan standing among them. Each had a censer in his hand, and a fragrant cloud of incense was rising.

11 उनके सामने इस्राएल के सत्तर अगुए खड़े थे, और उनके बीच शापान का पुत्र यात्सानिया खड़ा हुआ था. हर एक व्यक्ति अपने हाथ में धूपदान लिये हुए था, और वहां धूप का सुगंधित धुआं उठ रहा था.

12 “Son of man,” He said to me, “do you see what the elders of the house of Israel are doing in the darkness, each at the shrine of his own idol? For they are saying, ‘The LORD does not see us; the LORD has forsaken the land.’”

12 तब उसने मुझसे कहा, “हे मनुष्य के पुत्र, क्या तुमने देखा है कि इस्राएल के अगुए अंधेरे में, हर एक अपने मूर्ति की जगह में क्या कर रहे हैं? वे कहते हैं, ‘याहवेह हमें नहीं देखते; याहवेह ने हमारे देश को त्याग दिया है.’”

13 Again, He told me, “You will see them committing even greater abominations.”

13 फिर उसने मुझसे कहा, “तुम उन्हें और भी ज्यादा घृणित काम करते हुए देखोगे.”

14 Then He brought me to the entrance of the north gate of the house of the LORD, and I saw women sitting there, weeping for Tammuz.

14 तब वह मुझे याहवेह के भवन के उत्तरी द्वार के प्रवेश स्थल पर ले आया, और मैंने देखा कि वहां स्त्रियां बैठी हुई तम्मुत्स देवता के लिए रो रही थी.

15 “Son of man,” He said to me, “do you see this? Yet you will see even greater abominations than these.”

15 उसने मुझसे कहा, “हे मनुष्य के पुत्र, क्या तुम यह सब देख रहे हो? तुम इससे भी ज्यादा घृणित चीज़ें देखोगे.”

16 So He brought me to the inner court of the house of the LORD, and there at the entrance to the temple of the LORD, between the portico and the altar, were about twenty-five men with their backs to the temple of the LORD and their faces toward the east; and they were bowing to the east in worship of the sun.

16 तब वह मुझे याहवेह के भवन के भीतरी आंगन में ले आया, और वहां मंदिर के प्रवेश द्वार पर, मंडप और वेदी के बीच लगभग पच्चीस पुरुष थे. उनकी पीठ याहवेह के मंदिर की ओर और उनका मुंह पूर्व दिशा की ओर था, और वे पूर्व में सूर्य को दंडवत कर रहे थे.

17 “Son of man,” He said to me, “do you see this? Is it not enough for the house of Judah to commit the abominations they are practicing here, that they must also fill the land with violence and continually provoke Me to anger? Look, they are even putting the branch to their nose!

17 उसने मुझसे कहा, “हे मनुष्य के पुत्र, क्या तुमने यह देखा? यहूदिया के लोगों के लिये घृणित काम करना, जिसे वे यहां कर रहे हैं, क्या कोई छोटी बात है? निश्चित रूप से वे देश को हिंसा से भर देते हैं और लगातार मेरे क्रोध को भड़काते हैं. देखो, वे पेड़ की डाली को अपनी नाक पर रखे हुए हैं!

18 Therefore I will respond with wrath. I will not look on them with pity, nor will I spare them. Although they shout loudly in My ears, I will not listen to them.”

18 इसलिये मैं उनके साथ क्रोध से पेश आऊंगा; मैं उन दया दृष्टि नहीं करूंगा या उन्हें नहीं छोड़ूंगा. चाहे वे आकर मेरे कान में ऊंची आवाज में पुकारें, फिर भी मैं उनकी बात न सुनूंगा.”
