Job 25

1 Then Bildad the Shuhite replied:

1 Ndipo Bildadi Mshuhi akajibu:

2 “Dominion and awe belong to God; He establishes harmony in the heights of heaven.

2 “Mamlaka na kuheshimiwa ni vyake Mungu; yeye huthibitisha amani katika mbingu juu.

3 Can His troops be numbered? On whom does His light not rise?

3 Je, majeshi yake yaweza kuhesabika? Ni nani asiyeangaziwa na nuru yake?

4 How then can a man be just before God? How can one born of woman be pure?

4 Mtu awezaje kuwa mwadilifu mbele za Mungu? Awezaje mtu aliyezaliwa na mwanamke kuwa safi?

5 If even the moon does not shine, and the stars are not pure in His sight,

5 Ikiwa hata mwezi sio mwangavu nazo nyota si safi machoni pake,

6 how much less man, who is but a maggot, and the son of man, who is but a worm!”

6 sembuse mtu ambaye ni funza: mwanadamu ambaye ni buu tu!”
