Malachi 4

1 “For behold, the day is coming, burning like a furnace, when all the arrogant and every evildoer will be stubble; the day is coming when I will set them ablaze,” says the LORD of Hosts. “Not a root or branch will be left to them.”

1 सर्वशक्तिमान याहवेह का यह कहना है, “निश्चय ही, धधकती भट्टी के समान जलता हुआ वह दिन आ रहा है. सब अभिमानी और बुरे काम करनेवाले भूसे के समान हो जाएंगे, और वह दिन जो आनेवाला है, उन्हें आग में डाल देगा. उनमें न तो कोई जड़ और न ही कोई शाखा बचेगी.

2 “But for you who fear My name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings, and you will go out and leap like calves from the stall.

2 पर तुम जो मेरे नाम का सम्मान करते हो, तुम्हारे लिये धर्मीपन का सूर्य चंगाई देनेवाले अपने किरण के साथ उदय होगा. और तुम बाहर जाओगे और मोटे-ताजे बछड़े के समान उछल-कूद करोगे.

3 Then you will trample the wicked, for they will be ashes under the soles of your feet on the day I am preparing,” says the LORD of Hosts.

3 तब तुम दुष्टों को कुचल दोगे; वे मेरे ठहराये दिन में तुम्हारे पैरों के नीचे की राख समान हो जाएंगे,” सर्वशक्तिमान याहवेह का कहना है.

4 “Remember the law of My servant Moses, the statutes and ordinances I commanded him for all Israel at Horeb.

4 “मेरे सेवक मोशेह के कानून को याद करो, वह आज्ञा और कानून जिसे मैंने उसे होरेब पहाड़ पर सब इस्राएलियों के लिये दिया था.

5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and awesome Day of the LORD.

5 “देखो, इसके पहले कि याहवेह का वह बड़ा और भयानक दिन आये, मैं तुम्हारे पास एलियाह भविष्यवक्ता को भेजूंगा.

6 And he will turn the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers. Otherwise, I will come and strike the land with a curse.”

6 वह माता-पिता के हृदय को उनके बच्चों की ओर, और बच्चों के हृदय को उनके माता-पिता की ओर कर देगा; अन्यथा मैं आकर देश का पूरा सत्यानाश कर दूंगा.”
