Psalms 24

1 A Psalm of David. The earth is the LORD’s, and the fullness thereof, the world and all who dwell therein.

1 पृथ्वी और जो कुछ उसमें है यहोवा ही का है; जगत और उसमें निवास करनेवाले भी।

2 For He has founded it upon the seas and established it upon the waters.

2 क्योंकि उसी ने उसकी नींव समुद्रों के ऊपर दृढ़ करके रखी, और महानदों के ऊपर स्थिर किया है।

3 Who may ascend the hill of the LORD? Who may stand in His holy place?

3 यहोवा के पर्वत पर कौन चढ़ सकता है? और उसके पवित्रस्थान में कौन खड़ा हो सकता है?

4 He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift up his soul to an idol or swear deceitfully.

4 जिसके काम निर्दोष और हृदय शुद्ध है, जिसने अपने मन को व्यर्थ बात की ओर नहीं लगाया, और न कपट से शपथ खाई है।

5 He will receive blessing from the LORD and vindication from the God of his salvation.

5 वह यहोवा की ओर से आशीष पाएगा, और अपने उद्धार करनेवाले परमेश्वर की ओर से धर्मी ठहरेगा।

6 Such is the generation of those who seek Him, who seek Your face, O God of Jacob. Selah

6 ऐसे ही लोग उसके खोजी है, वे तेरे दर्शन के खोजी याकूबवंशी हैं। (सेला)

7 Lift up your heads, O gates! Be lifted up, O ancient doors, that the King of Glory may enter!

7 हे फाटकों, अपने सिर ऊँचे करो! हे सनातन के द्वारों, ऊँचे हो जाओ! क्योंकि प्रतापी राजा प्रवेश करेगा।

8 Who is this King of Glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle.

8 वह प्रतापी राजा कौन है? यहोवा जो सामर्थी और पराक्रमी है, परमेश्वर जो युद्ध में पराक्रमी है!

9 Lift up your heads, O gates! Be lifted up, O ancient doors, that the King of Glory may enter!

9 हे फाटकों, अपने सिर ऊँचे करो हे सनातन के द्वारों तुम भी खुल जाओ! क्योंकि प्रतापी राजा प्रवेश करेगा!

10 Who is He, this King of Glory? The LORD of Hosts—He is the King of Glory. Selah

10 वह प्रतापी राजा कौन है? सेनाओं का यहोवा, वही प्रतापी राजा है। (सेला)
