Psalms 47

1 For the choirmaster. A Psalm of the sons of Korah. Clap your hands, all you peoples; shout unto God with a voice of triumph.

1 हे देश-देश के सब लोगों, तालियाँ बजाओ! ऊँचे शब्द से परमेश्वर के लिये जयजयकार करो!

2 How awesome is the LORD Most High, the great King over all the earth!

2 क्योंकि यहोवा परमप्रधान और भययोग्य है, वह सारी पृथ्वी के ऊपर महाराजा है।

3 He subdues nations beneath us, and peoples under our feet.

3 वह देश-देश के लोगों को हमारे सम्मुख नीचा करता, और जाति-जाति को हमारे पाँवों के नीचे कर देता है।

4 He chooses our inheritance for us, the pride of Jacob, whom He loves. Selah

4 वह हमारे लिये उत्तम भाग चुन लेगा, जो उसके प्रिय याकूब के घमण्ड का कारण है। (सेला)

5 God has ascended amid shouts of joy, the LORD with the sound of the horn.

5 परमेश्वर जयजयकार सहित, यहोवा नरसिंगे के शब्द के साथ ऊपर गया है। (लूका 24:51, यूह. 6:62, प्रेरि. 1:9, भज. 68:1,2)

6 Sing praises to God, sing praises; sing praises to our King, sing praises!

6 परमेश्वर का भजन गाओ, भजन गाओ! हमारे महाराजा का भजन गाओ, भजन गाओ!

7 For God is King of all the earth; sing to Him a psalm of praise.

7 क्योंकि परमेश्वर सारी पृथ्वी का महाराजा है; समझ बूझकर बुद्धि से भजन गाओ।

8 God reigns over the nations; God is seated on His holy throne.

8 परमेश्वर जाति-जाति पर राज्य करता है; परमेश्वर अपने पवित्र सिंहासन पर विराजमान है । (भज. 96:10, प्रका. 19:6)

9 The nobles of the nations have assembled as the people of the God of Abraham; for the shields of the earth belong to God; He is highly exalted.

9 राज्य-राज्य के रईस अब्राहम के परमेश्वर की प्रजा होने के लिये इकट्ठे हुए हैं। क्योंकि पृथ्वी की ढालें परमेश्वर के वश में हैं, वह तो शिरोमणि है।
