2 Timothy 3

1 But understand this: In the last days terrible times will come.

1 وَلَكِنِ ٱعْلَمْ هَذَا أَنَّهُ فِي ٱلْأَيَّامِ ٱلْأَخِيرَةِ سَتَأْتِي أَزْمِنَةٌ صَعْبَةٌ،

2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy,

2 لِأَنَّ ٱلنَّاسَ يَكُونُونَ مُحِبِّينَ لِأَنْفُسِهِمْ، مُحِبِّينَ لِلْمَالِ، مُتَعَظِّمِينَ، مُسْتَكْبِرِينَ، مُجَدِّفِينَ، غَيْرَ طَائِعِينَ لِوَالِدِيهِمْ، غَيْرَ شَاكِرِينَ، دَنِسِينَ،

3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, without love of good,

3 بِلَا حُنُوٍّ، بِلَا رِضًى، ثَالِبِينَ، عَدِيمِي ٱلنَّزَاهَةِ، شَرِسِينَ، غَيْرَ مُحِبِّينَ لِلصَّلَاحِ،

4 traitorous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,

4 خَائِنِينَ، مُقْتَحِمِينَ، مُتَصَلِّفِينَ، مُحِبِّينَ لِلَّذَّاتِ دُونَ مَحَبَّةٍ لِلهِ،

5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. Turn away from such as these!

5 لَهُمْ صُورَةُ ٱلتَّقْوَى، وَلَكِنَّهُمْ مُنْكِرُونَ قُوَّتَهَا. فَأَعْرِضْ عَنْ هَؤُلَاءِ.

6 They are the kind who worm their way into households and captivate vulnerable women who are weighed down with sins and led astray by various passions,

6 فَإِنَّهُ مِنْ هَؤُلَاءِ هُمُ ٱلَّذِينَ يَدْخُلُونَ ٱلْبُيُوتَ، وَيَسْبُونَ نُسَيَّاتٍ مُحَمَّلَاتٍ خَطَايَا، مُنْسَاقَاتٍ بِشَهَوَاتٍ مُخْتَلِفَةٍ.

7 who are always learning but never able to come to a knowledge of the truth.

7 يَتَعَلَّمْنَ فِي كُلِّ حِينٍ، وَلَا يَسْتَطِعْنَ أَنْ يُقْبِلْنَ إِلَى مَعْرِفَةِ ٱلْحَقِّ أَبَدًا.

8 Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so also these men oppose the truth. They are depraved in mind and disqualified from the faith.

8 وَكَمَا قَاوَمَ يَنِّيسُ وَيَمْبِرِيسُ مُوسَى، كَذَلِكَ هَؤُلَاءِ أَيْضًا يُقَاوِمُونَ ٱلْحَقَّ. أُنَاسٌ فَاسِدَةٌ أَذْهَانُهُمْ، وَمِنْ جِهَةِ ٱلْإِيمَانِ مَرْفُوضُونَ.

9 But they will not advance much further. For just like Jannes and Jambres, their folly will be plain to everyone.

9 لَكِنَّهُمْ لَا يَتَقَدَّمُونَ أَكْثَرَ، لِأَنَّ حُمْقَهُمْ سَيَكُونُ وَاضِحًا لِلْجَمِيعِ، كَمَا كَانَ حُمْقُ ذَيْنِكَ أَيْضًا.

10 You, however, have observed my teaching, my conduct, my purpose, my faith, my patience, my love, my perseverance,

10 وَأَمَّا أَنْتَ فَقَدْ تَبِعْتَ تَعْلِيمِي، وَسِيرَتِي، وَقَصْدِي، وَإِيمَانِي، وَأَنَاتِي، وَمَحَبَّتِي، وَصَبْرِي،

11 my persecutions, and the sufferings that came upon me in Antioch, Iconium, and Lystra. What persecutions I endured! Yet the Lord rescued me from all of them.

11 وَٱضْطِهَادَاتِي، وَآلَامِي، مِثْلَ مَا أَصَابَنِي فِي أَنْطَاكِيَةَ وَإِيقُونِيَّةَ وَلِسْتِرَةَ. أَيَّةَ ٱضْطِهَادَاتٍ ٱحْتَمَلْتُ! وَمِنَ ٱلْجَمِيعِ أَنْقَذَنِي ٱلرَّبُّ.

12 Indeed, all who desire to live godly lives in Christ Jesus will be persecuted,

12 وَجَمِيعُ ٱلَّذِينَ يُرِيدُونَ أَنْ يَعِيشُوا بِٱلتَّقْوَى فِي ٱلْمَسِيحِ يَسُوعَ يُضْطَهَدُونَ.

13 while evil men and imposters go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived.

13 وَلَكِنَّ ٱلنَّاسَ ٱلْأَشْرَارَ ٱلْمُزَوِّرِينَ سَيَتَقَدَّمُونَ إِلَى أَرْدَأَ، مُضِلِّينَ وَمُضَلِّينَ.

14 But as for you, continue in the things you have learned and firmly believed, since you know from whom you have learned them.

14 وَأَمَّا أَنْتَ فَٱثْبُتْ عَلَى مَا تَعَلَّمْتَ وَأَيْقَنْتَ، عَارِفًا مِمَّنْ تَعَلَّمْتَ.

15 From infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.

15 وَأَنَّكَ مُنْذُ ٱلطُّفُولِيَّةِ تَعْرِفُ ٱلْكُتُبَ ٱلْمُقَدَّسَةَ، ٱلْقَادِرَةَ أَنْ تُحَكِّمَكَ لِلْخَلَاصِ، بِٱلْإِيمَانِ ٱلَّذِي فِي ٱلْمَسِيحِ يَسُوعَ.

16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for instruction, for conviction, for correction, and for training in righteousness,

16 كُلُّ ٱلْكِتَابِ هُوَ مُوحًى بِهِ مِنَ ٱللهِ، وَنَافِعٌ لِلتَّعْلِيمِ وَٱلتَّوْبِيخِ، لِلتَّقْوِيمِ وَٱلتَّأْدِيبِ ٱلَّذِي فِي ٱلْبِرِّ،

17 so that the man of God may be complete, fully equipped for every good work.

17 لِكَيْ يَكُونَ إِنْسَانُ ٱللهِ كَامِلًا، مُتَأَهِّبًا لِكُلِّ عَمَلٍ صَالِحٍ.
