Psalms 113

1 Hallelujah! Give praise, O servants of the LORD; praise the name of the LORD.

1 Aleluia! Louvem, ó servos do Senhor; louvem o nome dele!

2 Blessed be the name of the LORD both now and forevermore.

2 Bendito seja o nome do Senhor, desde agora e para sempre!

3 From where the sun rises to where it sets, the name of the LORD is praised.

3 Seja louvado o nome do Senhor desde o nascer até o pôr do sol.

4 The LORD is exalted over all the nations, His glory above the heavens.

4 O Senhor é grande, acima de todas as nações; a sua glória está acima dos céus!

5 Who is like the LORD our God, the One enthroned on high?

5 Quem é como o Senhor, o nosso Deus, cujo trono fica nas alturas?

6 He humbles Himself to behold the heavens and the earth.

6 De lá ele se inclina para ver o que acontece nos céus e na terra.

7 He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the dump

7 Ele levanta os fracos e necessitados do pó e tira os pobres da lama.

8 to seat them with nobles, with the princes of His people.

8 Além disso, ele lhes dá um lugar de honra junto aos príncipes e autoridades do povo.

9 He settles the barren woman in her home as a joyful mother to her children. Hallelujah!

9 Dá uma grande família à mulher que não pode ter filhos, tornando-a uma mãe muito feliz. Aleluia!
