Psalms 121

1 A song of ascents. I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come?

1 Olho para os montes e pergunto: “De onde virá o meu socorro?”

2 My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth.

2 O meu socorro vem do Senhor que criou os céus e a terra.

3 He will not allow your foot to slip; your Protector will not slumber.

3 Ele não deixará que você tropece. Ele vigia de perto cada um dos seus passos, sem cochilar.

4 Behold, the Protector of Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.

4 É verdade! O protetor de Israel não cochila nem dorme. Ele está sempre alerta!

5 The LORD is your keeper; the LORD is the shade on your right hand.

5 O Senhor é o seu protetor. Ele estará sempre ao seu lado como sombra para o proteger.

6 The sun will not strike you by day, nor the moon by night.

6 O sol não lhe fará mal de dia, nem a lua, de noite.

7 The LORD will guard you from all evil; He will preserve your soul.

7 O Senhor o protegerá de todo mal; ele protegerá a sua vida!

8 The LORD will watch over your coming and going, both now and forevermore.

8 O Senhor tomará conta da sua entrada e da sua saída, agora e sempre.
