Psalms 13

1 For the choirmaster. A Psalm of David. How long, O LORD? Will You forget me forever? How long will You hide Your face from me?

1 ¿Hasta cuándo me tendrás en el olvido, Señor? ¿Para siempre? ¿Hasta cuándo esconderás de mí tu rostro?

2 How long must I wrestle in my soul, with sorrow in my heart each day? How long will my enemy dominate me?

2 ¿Hasta cuándo soportaré esta diaria angustia? ¿Hasta cuándo triunfará mi enemigo?

3 Consider me and respond, O LORD my God. Give light to my eyes, lest I sleep in death,

3 Respóndeme, oh Señor, Dios mío. ¡Devuélveles la luz a mis ojos!

4 lest my enemy say, “I have overcome him,” and my foes rejoice when I fall.

4 No permitas que mis enemigos digan: «Lo hemos vencido». No los dejes gozarse por mi derrota.

5 But I have trusted in Your loving devotion; my heart will rejoice in Your salvation.

5 Pero yo, desde ya, confío en tu gran amor. Me gozo porque tú me has salvado.

6 I will sing to the LORD, for He has been good to me.

6 Te canto, Señor, por el bien que me has hecho.
