Psalms 131

1 A song of ascents. Of David. My heart is not proud, O LORD, my eyes are not haughty. I do not aspire to great things or matters too lofty for me.

1 Señor, mi corazón no es orgulloso, ni mis ojos altivos; no busco grandezas, ni cosas que sean mayores a mis fuerzas.

2 Surely I have stilled and quieted my soul; like a weaned child with his mother, like a weaned child is my soul within me.

2 Pero estoy callado y tranquilo, como un niño pequeño está quieto al lado de su madre. Sí, como un niño pequeño es mi alma.

3 O Israel, put your hope in the LORD, both now and forevermore.

3 Israel, pon tu esperanza en el Señor desde ahora y para siempre.
