Psalms 34

1 Of David, when he pretended to be insane before Abimelech, so that the king drove him away. I will bless the LORD at all times; His praise will always be on my lips.

1 أُبَارِكُ ٱلرَّبَّ فِي كُلِّ حِينٍ. دَائِمًا تَسْبِيحُهُ فِي فَمِي.

2 My soul boasts in the LORD; let the oppressed hear and rejoice.

2 بِٱلرَّبِّ تَفْتَخِرُ نَفْسِي. يَسْمَعُ ٱلْوُدَعَاءُ فَيَفْرَحُونَ.

3 Magnify the LORD with me; let us exalt His name together.

3 عَظِّمُوا ٱلرَّبَّ مَعِي، وَلْنُعَلِّ ٱسْمَهُ مَعًا.

4 I sought the LORD, and He answered me; He delivered me from all my fears.

4 طَلَبْتُ إِلَى ٱلرَّبِّ فَٱسْتَجَابَ لِي، وَمِنْ كُلِّ مَخَاوِفِي أَنْقَذَنِي.

5 Those who look to Him are radiant with joy; their faces shall never be ashamed.

5 نَظَرُوا إِلَيْهِ وَٱسْتَنَارُوا، وَوُجُوهُهُمْ لَمْ تَخْجَلْ.

6 This poor man called out, and the LORD heard him; He saved him from all his troubles.

6 هَذَا ٱلْمِسْكِينُ صَرَخَ، وَٱلرَّبُّ ٱسْتَمَعَهُ، وَمِنْ كُلِّ ضِيقَاتِهِ خَلَّصَهُ.

7 The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear Him, and he delivers them.

7 مَلَاكُ ٱلرَّبِّ حَالٌّ حَوْلَ خَائِفِيهِ، وَيُنَجِّيهِمْ.

8 Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him!

8 ذُوقُوا وَٱنْظُرُوا مَا أَطْيَبَ ٱلرَّبَّ! طُوبَى لِلرَّجُلِ ٱلْمُتَوَكِّلِ عَلَيْهِ.

9 Fear the LORD, you His saints, for those who fear Him lack nothing.

9 ٱتَّقُوا ٱلرَّبَّ يَا قِدِّيسِيهِ، لِأَنَّهُ لَيْسَ عَوَزٌ لِمُتَّقِيهِ.

10 Young lions go lacking and hungry, but those who seek the LORD lack no good thing.

10 ٱلْأَشْبَالُ ٱحْتَاجَتْ وَجَاعَتْ، وَأَمَّا طَالِبُو ٱلرَّبِّ فَلَا يُعْوِزُهُمْ شَيْءٌ مِنَ ٱلْخَيْرِ.

11 Come, children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the LORD.

11 هَلُمَّ أَيُّهَا ٱلْبَنُونَ ٱسْتَمِعُوا إِلَيَّ فَأُعَلِّمَكُمْ مَخَافَةَ ٱلرَّبِّ.

12 Who is the man who delights in life, who desires to see good days?

12 مَنْ هُوَ ٱلْإِنْسَانُ ٱلَّذِي يَهْوَى ٱلْحَيَاةَ، وَيُحِبُّ كَثْرَةَ ٱلْأَيَّامِ لِيَرَى خَيْرًا؟

13 Keep your tongue from evil and your lips from deceitful speech.

13 صُنْ لِسَانَكَ عَنِ ٱلشَّرِّ، وَشَفَتَيْكَ عَنِ ٱلتَّكَلُّمِ بِٱلْغِشِّ.

14 Turn away from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.

14 حِدْ عَنِ ٱلشَّرِّ، وَٱصْنَعِ ٱلْخَيْرَ. ٱطْلُبِ ٱلسَّلَامَةَ، وَٱسْعَ وَرَاءَهَا.

15 The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous, and His ears are inclined to their cry.

15 عَيْنَا ٱلرَّبِّ نَحْوَ ٱلصِّدِّيقِينَ، وَأُذُنَاهُ إِلَى صُرَاخِهِمْ.

16 But the face of the LORD is against those who do evil, to wipe out all memory of them from the earth.

16 وَجْهُ ٱلرَّبِّ ضِدُّ عَامِلِي ٱلشَّرِّ لِيَقْطَعَ مِنَ ٱلْأَرْضِ ذِكْرَهُمْ.

17 The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears; He delivers them from all their troubles.

17 أُولَئِكَ صَرَخُوا، وَٱلرَّبُّ سَمِعَ، وَمِنْ كُلِّ شَدَائِدِهِمْ أَنْقَذَهُمْ.

18 The LORD is near to the brokenhearted; He saves the contrite in spirit.

18 قَرِيبٌ هُوَ ٱلرَّبُّ مِنَ ٱلْمُنْكَسِرِي ٱلْقُلُوبِ، وَيُخَلِّصُ ٱلْمُنْسَحِقِي ٱلرُّوحِ.

19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him from them all.

19 كَثِيرَةٌ هِيَ بَلَايَا ٱلصِّدِّيقِ، وَمِنْ جَمِيعِهَا يُنَجِّيهِ ٱلرَّبُّ.

20 He protects all his bones; not one of them will be broken.

20 يَحْفَظُ جَمِيعَ عِظَامِهِ. وَاحِدٌ مِنْهَا لَا يَنْكَسِرُ.

21 Evil will slay the wicked, and the haters of the righteous will be condemned.

21 ٱلشَّرُّ يُمِيتُ ٱلشِّرِّيرَ، وَمُبْغِضُو ٱلصِّدِّيقِ يُعَاقَبُونَ.

22 The LORD redeems His servants, and none who take refuge in Him will be condemned.

22 ٱلرَّبُّ فَادِي نُفُوسِ عَبِيدِهِ، وَكُلُّ مَنِ ٱتَّكَلَ عَلَيْهِ لَا يُعَاقَبُ.
