Psalms 98

1 A Psalm. Sing to the LORD a new song, for He has done wonders; His right hand and holy arm have gained Him the victory.

1 Cantem ao Senhor uma nova canção, porque ele fez coisas maravilhosas! Com a sua mão direita e o seu braço forte ele conquistou a vitória!

2 The LORD has proclaimed His salvation and revealed His righteousness to the nations.

2 O Senhor anunciou ao mundo a sua salvação. Mostrou abertamente às nações a sua justiça.

3 He has remembered His love and faithfulness to the house of Israel; all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

3 Foi fiel às suas promessas e mostrou novamente o seu grande amor ao povo de Israel; todos os povos viram a vitória do nosso Deus.

4 Make a joyful noise to the LORD, all the earth; break forth—let your cry ring out, and sing praises!

4 Por isso, todos os habitantes da terra cantem louvores ao Senhor com profunda alegria! Alegrem-se! Gritem vivas! Cantem hinos!

5 Sing praises to the LORD with the lyre, in melodious song with the harp.

5 Acompanhem os seus louvores ao Senhor com o som das harpas. Cantem enquanto tocam.

6 With trumpets and the blast of the ram’s horn shout for joy before the LORD, the King.

6 Ao som de trombetas e cornetas cantem com alegria diante do Senhor, o Rei!

7 Let the sea resound, and all that fills it, the world, and all who dwell in it.

7 Que o mar imenso louve o Senhor com o grande barulho das suas ondas! Louvem a terra e os seus habitantes!

8 Let the rivers clap their hands, let the mountains sing together for joy

8 Os rios baterão palmas e os montes cantarão juntos de alegria

9 before the LORD, for He comes to judge the earth. He will judge the world with righteousness and the peoples with equity.

9 quando o Senhor surgir, porque ele vem, vem julgar a terra! Julgará os homens com a sua perfeita justiça e os povos com retidão.
