| BSB 1 Brothers, if someone is caught in a trespass, you who are spiritual should restore him with a spirit of gentleness. But watch yourself, or you also may be tempted. | WEB 1 Brothers, even if a man is caught in some fault, you who are spiritual must restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, looking to yourself so that you also aren’t tempted. |
| BSB 2 Carry one another’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. | WEB 2 Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. |
| BSB 3 If anyone thinks he is something when he is nothing, he deceives himself. | WEB 3 For if a man thinks himself to be something when he is nothing, he deceives himself. |
| BSB 4 Each one should test his own work. Then he will have reason to boast in himself alone, and not in someone else. | WEB 4 But let each man examine his own work, and then he will have reason to boast in himself, and not in someone else. |
| BSB 5 For each one should carry his own load. | WEB 5 For each man will bear his own burden. |
| BSB 6 Nevertheless, the one who receives instruction in the word must share in all good things with his instructor. | WEB 6 But let him who is taught in the word share all good things with him who teaches. |
| BSB 7 Do not be deceived: God is not to be mocked. Whatever a man sows, he will reap in return. | WEB 7 Don’t be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. |
| BSB 8 The one who sows to please his flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; but the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. | WEB 8 For he who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption. But he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. |
| BSB 9 Let us not grow weary in well-doing, for in due time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. | WEB 9 Let’s not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season if we don’t give up. |
| BSB 10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to the family of faith. | WEB 10 So then, as we have opportunity, let’s do what is good toward all men, and especially toward those who are of the household of the faith. |
| BSB 11 See what large letters I am using to write to you with my own hand! | WEB 11 See with what large letters I write to you with my own hand. |
| BSB 12 Those who want to make a good impression outwardly are trying to compel you to be circumcised. They only do this to avoid persecution for the cross of Christ. | WEB 12 As many as desire to make a good impression in the flesh compel you to be circumcised, just so they may not be persecuted for the cross of Christ. |
| BSB 13 For the circumcised do not even keep the law themselves, yet they want you to be circumcised that they may boast in your flesh. | WEB 13 For even they who receive circumcision don’t keep the law themselves, but they desire to have you circumcised, so that they may boast in your flesh. |
| BSB 14 But as for me, may I never boast, except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. | WEB 14 But far be it from me to boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. |
| BSB 15 For neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything. What counts is a new creation. | WEB 15 For in Christ Jesus neither is circumcision anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creation. |
| BSB 16 Peace and mercy to all who walk by this rule, even to the Israel of God. | WEB 16 As many as walk by this rule, peace and mercy be on them, and on God’s Israel. |
| BSB 17 From now on let no one cause me trouble, for I bear on my body the marks of Jesus. | WEB 17 From now on, let no one cause me any trouble, for I bear the marks of the Lord Jesus branded on my body. |
| BSB 18 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, brothers. Amen. | WEB 18 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, brothers. Amen. |
