Job 37

1 “At this my heart also pounds and leaps from its place.

1 因此我心战兢， 从原处移动。

2 Listen closely to the thunder of His voice and the rumbling that comes from His mouth.

2 听啊， 神轰轰的声音 是他口中所发的响声。

3 He unleashes His lightning beneath the whole sky and sends it to the ends of the earth.

3 他发响声震遍天下， 发电光闪到地极。

4 Then there comes a roaring sound; He thunders with His majestic voice. He does not restrain the lightning when His voice resounds.

4 随后人听见有雷声轰轰，大发威严， 雷电接连不断。

5 God thunders wondrously with His voice; He does great things we cannot comprehend.

5 神发出奇妙的雷声； 他行大事，我们不能测透。

6 For He says to the snow, ‘Fall on the earth,’ and to the gentle rain, ‘Pour out a mighty downpour.’

6 他对雪说：要降在地上； 对大雨和暴雨也是这样说。

7 He seals up the hand of every man, so that all men may know His work.

7 他封住各人的手， 叫所造的万人都晓得他的作为。

8 The wild animals enter their lairs; they settle down in their dens.

8 百兽进入穴中， 卧在洞内。

9 The tempest comes from its chamber, and the cold from the driving north winds.

9 暴风出于南宫； 寒冷出于北方。

10 By the breath of God the ice is formed and the watery expanses are frozen.

10 神嘘气成冰； 宽阔之水也都凝结。

11 He loads the clouds with moisture; He scatters His lightning through them.

11 他使密云盛满水气， 布散电光之云；

12 They swirl about, whirling at His direction, accomplishing all that He commands over the face of all the earth.

12 这云是借他的指引游行旋转， 得以在全地面上行他一切所吩咐的，

13 Whether for punishment or for His land, He accomplishes this in His loving devotion.

13 或为责罚，或为润地， 或为施行慈爱。

14 Listen to this, O Job; stand still and consider the wonders of God.

14 约伯啊，你要留心听， 要站立思想 神奇妙的作为。

15 Do you know how God dispatches the clouds or makes the lightning flash?

15 神如何吩咐这些， 如何使云中的电光照耀，你知道吗？

16 Do you understand how the clouds float, those wonders of Him who is perfect in knowledge?

16 云彩如何浮于空中， 那知识全备者奇妙的作为，你知道吗？

17 You whose clothes get hot when the land lies hushed under the south wind,

17 南风使地寂静， 你的衣服就如火热，你知道吗？

18 can you, like Him, spread out the skies, as strong as a mirror of bronze?

18 你岂能与 神同铺穹苍吗？ 这穹苍坚硬，如同铸成的镜子。

19 Teach us what we should say to Him; we cannot draw up our case because of our darkness.

19 我们愚昧不能陈说； 请你指教我们该对他说什么话。

20 Should He be told that I want to speak? Would a man ask to be swallowed up?

20 人岂可说：我愿与他说话？ 岂有人自愿灭亡吗？

21 Now no one can gaze at the sun when it is bright in the skies after the wind has swept them clean.

21 现在有云遮蔽，人不得见穹苍的光亮； 但风吹过，天又发晴。

22 Out of the north He comes in golden splendor; awesome majesty surrounds Him.

22 金光出于北方， 在 神那里有可怕的威严。

23 The Almighty is beyond our reach; He is exalted in power! In His justice and great righteousness He does not oppress.

23 论到全能者，我们不能测度； 他大有能力，有公平和大义， 必不苦待人。

24 Therefore, men fear Him, for He is not partial to the wise in heart.”

24 所以，人敬畏他； 凡自以为心中有智慧的人，他都不顾念。
