Numbers 1

1 On the first day of the second month of the second year after the Israelites had come out of the land of Egypt, the LORD spoke to Moses in the Tent of Meeting in the Wilderness of Sinai. He said:

1 以色列人出埃及地后，第二年二月初一日，耶和华在西奈的旷野、会幕中晓谕摩西说：

2 “Take a census of the whole congregation of Israel by their clans and families, listing every man by name, one by one.

2 「你要按以色列全会众的家室、宗族、人名的数目计算所有的男丁。

3 You and Aaron are to number those who are twenty years of age or older by their divisions—everyone who can serve in Israel’s army.

3 凡以色列中，从二十岁以外，能出去打仗的，你和亚伦要照他们的军队数点。

4 And one man from each tribe, the head of each family, must be there with you.

4 每支派中必有一人作本支派的族长，帮助你们。

5 These are the names of the men who are to assist you: From the tribe of Reuben, Elizur son of Shedeur;

5 他们的名字：属吕便的，有示丢珥的儿子以利蓿；

6 from Simeon, Shelumiel son of Zurishaddai;

6 属西缅的，有苏利沙代的儿子示路蔑；

7 from Judah, Nahshon son of Amminadab;

7 属犹大的，有亚米拿达的儿子拿顺；

8 from Issachar, Nethanel son of Zuar;

8 属以萨迦的，有苏押的儿子拿坦业；

9 from Zebulun, Eliab son of Helon;

9 属西布伦的，有希伦的儿子以利押；

10 from the sons of Joseph: from Ephraim, Elishama son of Ammihud, and from Manasseh, Gamaliel son of Pedahzur;

10 约瑟子孙、属以法莲的，有亚米忽的儿子以利沙玛；属玛拿西的，有比大蓿的儿子迦玛列；

11 from Benjamin, Abidan son of Gideoni;

11 属便雅悯的，有基多尼的儿子亚比但；

12 from Dan, Ahiezer son of Ammishaddai;

12 属但的，有亚米沙代的儿子亚希以谢；

13 from Asher, Pagiel son of Ocran;

13 属亚设的，有俄兰的儿子帕结；

14 from Gad, Eliasaph son of Deuel;

14 属迦得的，有丢珥的儿子以利雅萨；

15 and from Naphtali, Ahira son of Enan.”

15 属拿弗他利的，有以南的儿子亚希拉。

16 These men were appointed from the congregation; they were the leaders of the tribes of their fathers, the heads of the clans of Israel.

16 这都是从会中选召的，各作本支派的首领，都是以色列军中的统领。」

17 So Moses and Aaron took these men who had been designated by name,

17 于是，摩西、亚伦带着这些按名指定的人，

18 and on the first day of the second month they assembled the whole congregation and recorded their ancestry by clans and families, counting one by one the names of those twenty years of age or older,

18 当二月初一日招聚全会众。会众就照他们的家室、宗族、人名的数目，从二十岁以外的，都述说自己的家谱。

19 just as the LORD had commanded Moses. So Moses numbered them in the Wilderness of Sinai:

19 耶和华怎样吩咐摩西，他就怎样在西奈的旷野数点他们。

20 From the sons of Reuben, the firstborn of Israel, according to the records of their clans and families, counting one by one the names of every male twenty years of age or older who could serve in the army,

20–21 以色列的长子，吕便子孙的后代，照着家室、宗族、人名的数目，从二十岁以外，凡能出去打仗、被数的男丁，共有四万六千五百名。

21 those registered to the tribe of Reuben numbered 46,500.

22 From the sons of Simeon, according to the records of their clans and families, counting one by one the names of every male twenty years of age or older who could serve in the army,

22–23 西缅子孙的后代，照着家室、宗族、人名的数目，从二十岁以外，凡能出去打仗、被数的男丁，共有五万九千三百名。

23 those registered to the tribe of Simeon numbered 59,300.

24 From the sons of Gad, according to the records of their clans and families, counting the names of all those twenty years of age or older who could serve in the army,

24–25 迦得子孙的后代，照着家室、宗族、人名的数目，从二十岁以外，凡能出去打仗、被数的，共有四万五千六百五十名。

25 those registered to the tribe of Gad numbered 45,650.

26 From the sons of Judah, according to the records of their clans and families, counting the names of all those twenty years of age or older who could serve in the army,

26–27 犹大子孙的后代，照着家室、宗族、人名的数目，从二十岁以外，凡能出去打仗、被数的，共有七万四千六百名。

27 those registered to the tribe of Judah numbered 74,600.

28 From the sons of Issachar, according to the records of their clans and families, counting the names of all those twenty years of age or older who could serve in the army,

28–29 以萨迦子孙的后代，照着家室、宗族、人名的数目，从二十岁以外，凡能出去打仗、被数的，共有五万四千四百名。

29 those registered to the tribe of Issachar numbered 54,400.

30 From the sons of Zebulun, according to the records of their clans and families, counting the names of all those twenty years of age or older who could serve in the army,

30–31 西布伦子孙的后代，照着家室、宗族、人名的数目，从二十岁以外，凡能出去打仗、被数的，共有五万七千四百名。

31 those registered to the tribe of Zebulun numbered 57,400.

32 From the sons of Joseph: From the sons of Ephraim, according to the records of their clans and families, counting the names of all those twenty years of age or older who could serve in the army,

32–33 约瑟子孙属以法莲子孙的后代，照着家室、宗族、人名的数目，从二十岁以外，凡能出去打仗、被数的，共有四万零五百名。

33 those registered to the tribe of Ephraim numbered 40,500.

34 And from the sons of Manasseh, according to the records of their clans and families, counting the names of all those twenty years of age or older who could serve in the army,

34–35 玛拿西子孙的后代，照着家室、宗族、人名的数目，从二十岁以外，凡能出去打仗、被数的，共有三万二千二百名。

35 those registered to the tribe of Manasseh numbered 32,200.

36 From the sons of Benjamin, according to the records of their clans and families, counting the names of all those twenty years of age or older who could serve in the army,

36–37 便雅悯子孙的后代，照着家室、宗族、人名的数目，从二十岁以外，凡能出去打仗、被数的，共有三万五千四百名。

37 those registered to the tribe of Benjamin numbered 35,400.

38 From the sons of Dan, according to the records of their clans and families, counting the names of all those twenty years of age or older who could serve in the army,

38–39 但子孙的后代，照着家室、宗族、人名的数目，从二十岁以外，凡能出去打仗、被数的，共有六万二千七百名。

39 those registered to the tribe of Dan numbered 62,700.

40 From the sons of Asher, according to the records of their clans and families, counting the names of all those twenty years of age or older who could serve in the army,

40–41 亚设子孙的后代，照着家室、宗族、人名的数目，从二十岁以外，凡能出去打仗、被数的，共有四万一千五百名。

41 those registered to the tribe of Asher numbered 41,500.

42 From the sons of Naphtali, according to the records of their clans and families, counting the names of all those twenty years of age or older who could serve in the army,

42–43 拿弗他利子孙的后代，照着家室、宗族、人名的数目，从二十岁以外，凡能出去打仗、被数的，共有五万三千四百名。

43 those registered to the tribe of Naphtali numbered 53,400.

44 These were the men numbered by Moses and Aaron, with the assistance of the twelve leaders of Israel, each one representing his family.

44 这些就是被数点的，是摩西、亚伦，和以色列中十二个首领所数点的；这十二个人各作各宗族的代表。

45 So all the Israelites twenty years of age or older who could serve in Israel’s army were counted according to their families.

45–46 这样，凡以色列人中被数的，照着宗族，从二十岁以外，能出去打仗、被数的，共有六十万零三千五百五十名。

46 And all those counted totaled 603,550.

47 The Levites, however, were not numbered along with them by the tribe of their fathers.

47 利未人却没有按着支派数在其中，

48 For the LORD had said to Moses:

48 因为耶和华晓谕摩西说：

49 “Do not number the tribe of Levi in the census with the other Israelites.

49 「惟独利未支派你不可数点，也不可在以色列人中计算他们的总数。

50 Instead, you are to appoint the Levites over the tabernacle of the Testimony, all its furnishings, and everything in it. They shall carry the tabernacle and all its articles, care for it, and camp around it.

50 只要派利未人管法柜的帐幕和其中的器具，并属乎帐幕的；他们要抬 帐幕和其中的器具，并要办理帐幕的事，在帐幕的四围安营。

51 Whenever the tabernacle is to move, the Levites are to take it down, and whenever it is to be pitched, the Levites are to set it up. Any outsider who goes near it must be put to death.

51 帐幕将往前行的时候，利未人要拆卸；将支搭的时候，利未人要竖起。近前来的外人必被治死。

52 The Israelites are to camp by their divisions, each man in his own camp and under his own standard.

52 以色列人支搭帐棚，要照他们的军队，各归本营，各归本纛。

53 But the Levites are to camp around the tabernacle of the Testimony and watch over it, so that no wrath will fall on the congregation of Israel. So the Levites are responsible for the tabernacle of the Testimony.”

53 但利未人要在法柜帐幕的四围安营，免得忿怒临到以色列会众；利未人并要谨守法柜的帐幕。」

54 Thus the Israelites did everything just as the LORD had commanded Moses.

54 以色列人就这样行。凡耶和华所吩咐摩西的，他们就照样行了。
