| BSB 18 They loathed all food and drew near to the gates of death. | SVD 18 كَرِهَتْ أَنْفُسُهُمْ كُلَّ طَعَامٍ، وَٱقْتَرَبُوا إِلَى أَبْوَابِ ٱلْمَوْتِ. |

| BSB 20 He sent forth His word and healed them; He rescued them from the Pit. | SVD 20 أَرْسَلَ كَلِمَتَهُ فَشَفَاهُمْ، وَنَجَّاهُمْ مِنْ تَهْلُكَاتِهِمْ. |

| BSB 26 They mounted up to the heavens, then sunk to the depths; their courage melted in their anguish. | SVD 26 يَصْعَدُونَ إِلَى ٱلسَّمَاوَاتِ، يَهْبِطُونَ إِلَى ٱلْأَعْمَاقِ. ذَابَتْ أَنْفُسُهُمْ بِٱلشَّقَاءِ. |

| BSB 34 and fruitful land into fields of salt, because of the wickedness of its dwellers. | SVD 34 وَٱلْأَرْضَ ٱلْمُثْمِرَةَ سَبِخَةً مِنْ شَرِّ ٱلسَّاكِنِينَ فِيهَا. |
| BSB 35 He turns a desert into pools of water and a dry land into flowing springs. | SVD 35 يَجْعَلُ ٱلْقَفْرَ غَدِيرَ مِيَاهٍ، وَأَرْضًا يَبَسًا يَنَابِيعَ مِيَاهٍ. |
| BSB 36 He causes the hungry to settle there, that they may establish a city in which to dwell. | SVD 36 وَيُسْكِنُ هُنَاكَ ٱلْجِيَاعَ فَيُهَيِّئُونَ مَدِينَةَ سَكَنٍ. |
| BSB 37 They sow fields and plant vineyards that yield a fruitful harvest. | SVD 37 وَيَزْرَعُونَ حُقُولًا وَيَغْرِسُونَ كُرُومًا، فَتَصْنَعُ ثَمَرَ غَلَّةٍ. |
| BSB 38 He blesses them, and they multiply greatly; He does not let their herds diminish. | SVD 38 وَيُبَارِكُهُمْ فَيَكْثُرُونَ جِدًّا، وَلَا يُقَلِّلُ بَهَائِمَهُمْ. |
| BSB 39 When they are decreased and humbled by oppression, evil, and sorrow, | SVD 39 ثُمَّ يَقِلُّونَ وَيَنْحَنُونَ مِنْ ضَغْطِ ٱلشَّرِّ وَٱلْحُزْنِ. |
| BSB 40 He pours out contempt on the nobles and makes them wander in a trackless wasteland. | SVD 40 يَسْكُبُ هَوَانًا عَلَى رُؤَسَاءَ، وَيُضِلُّهُمْ فِي تِيهٍ بِلَا طَرِيقٍ، |
| BSB 41 But He lifts the needy from affliction and increases their families like flocks. | SVD 41 وَيُعَلِّي ٱلْمِسْكِينَ مِنَ ٱلذُّلِّ، وَيَجْعَلُ ٱلْقَبَائِلَ مِثْلَ قُطْعَانِ ٱلْغَنَمِ. |
| BSB 42 The upright see and rejoice, and all iniquity shuts its mouth. | SVD 42 يَرَى ذَلِكَ ٱلْمُسْتَقِيمُونَ فَيَفْرَحُونَ، وَكُلُّ إِثْمٍ يَسُدُّ فَاهُ. |
