Psalms 125

1 A song of ascents. Those who trust in the LORD are like Mount Zion. It cannot be moved; it abides forever.

1 जिन्होंने याहवेह पर भरोसा किया है, वे ज़ियोन पर्वत समान हैं, जिसे हिलाया नहीं जा सकता, जो सदा-सर्वदा स्थायी है.

2 As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the LORD surrounds His people, both now and forevermore.

2 जिस प्रकार पर्वतों ने येरूशलेम को घेरा हुआ है, उसी प्रकार याहवेह भी अपनी प्रजा को घेरे हुए हैं आज भी और सदा-सर्वदा.

3 For the scepter of the wicked will not rest upon the land allotted to the righteous, so that the righteous will not put forth their hands to injustice.

3 धर्मियों को आवंटित भूमि पर दुष्टों का राजदंड स्थायी न रहेगा, कहीं ऐसा न हो कि धर्मियों के हाथ बुराई की ओर बढ़ जाएं.

4 Do good, O LORD, to those who are good, and to the upright in heart.

4 याहवेह, धर्मियों का कल्याण कीजिए, उनका, जिनके हृदय निष्ठ हैं.

5 But those who turn to crooked ways the LORD will banish with the evildoers. Peace be upon Israel.

5 उन्हें, जो दुष्टता के मार्ग की ओर मुड़ जाते हैं, याहवेह उन्हें दुष्टों के साथ काट देंगे. इस्राएल राष्ट्र में शांति व्याप्‍त हो.
