Psalms 125

1 A song of ascents. Those who trust in the LORD are like Mount Zion. It cannot be moved; it abides forever.

1 जो यहोवा पर भरोसा रखते हैं, वे सिय्योन पर्वत के समान हैं, जो टलता नहीं, वरन् सदा बना रहता है।

2 As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the LORD surrounds His people, both now and forevermore.

2 जिस प्रकार यरूशलेम के चारों ओर पहाड़ हैं, उसी प्रकार यहोवा अपनी प्रजा के चारों ओर अब से लेकर सर्वदा तक बना रहेगा ।

3 For the scepter of the wicked will not rest upon the land allotted to the righteous, so that the righteous will not put forth their hands to injustice.

3 दुष्टों का राजदण्ड धर्मियों के भाग पर बना न रहेगा, ऐसा न हो कि धर्मी अपने हाथ कुटिल काम की ओर बढ़ाएँ।

4 Do good, O LORD, to those who are good, and to the upright in heart.

4 हे यहोवा, भलों का और सीधे मनवालों का भला कर!

5 But those who turn to crooked ways the LORD will banish with the evildoers. Peace be upon Israel.

5 परन्तु जो मुड़कर टेढ़े मार्गों में चलते हैं, उनको यहोवा अनर्थकारियों के संग निकाल देगा! इस्राएल को शान्ति मिले! (नीति. 2:15)
