Psalms 126

1 A song of ascents. When the LORD restored the captives of Zion, we were like dreamers.

1 Quando o Senhor libertou seus filhos do cativeiro e os trouxe de volta a Sião, nossa vida parecia como um sonho!

2 Then our mouths were filled with laughter, our tongues with shouts of joy. Then it was said among the nations, “The LORD has done great things for them.”

2 Ríamos e cantávamos sem parar, de tanta alegria! E muitas nações, por toda a terra, reconheciam: “Grandes coisas o Senhor fez por eles!”

3 The LORD has done great things for us; we are filled with joy.

3 É verdade! O Senhor fez grandes coisas por nós, e por isso estamos alegres!

4 Restore our captives, O LORD, like streams in the Negev.

4 Ó Senhor, encha novamente a nossa vida de bênçãos, como as chuvas do inverno enchem os riachos secos do deserto.

5 Those who sow in tears will reap with shouts of joy.

5 Quem planta as sementes chorando colherá as espigas com cantos de alegria.

6 He who goes out weeping, bearing a trail of seed, will surely return with shouts of joy, carrying sheaves of grain.

6 Quem sai com a cesta de sementes chorando enquanto lança a semente voltará carregado de feixes de espigas, cantando de alegria!
