Psalms 70

1 For the choirmaster. Of David. To bring remembrance. Make haste, O God, to deliver me! Hurry, O LORD, to help me!

1 ¡Líbrame, oh Dios! ¡Señor, apresúrate, acude en mi auxilio!

2 May those who seek my life be ashamed and confounded; may those who wish me harm be repelled and humiliated.

2 Que sean humillados y confundidos los que procuran matarme. Que retrocedan avergonzados los que desean mi mal.

3 May those who say, “Aha, aha!” retreat because of their shame.

3 Que se horroricen de vergüenza por haberse burlado de mí.

4 May all who seek You rejoice and be glad in You; may those who love Your salvation always say, “Let God be magnified!”

4 Pero a los seguidores de Dios, llénalos de gozo. Exclamen quienes aman su salvación: «¡Qué admirable Dios!».

5 But I am poor and needy; hurry to me, O God. You are my help and my deliverer; O LORD, do not delay.

5 Pero yo soy pobre y estoy necesitado. Apresúrate a socorrerme, pues sólo tú puedes ayudarme y salvarme. Oh Señor, no tardes.
