Psalms 95

1 Come, let us sing for joy to the LORD; let us shout to the Rock of our salvation!

1 ¡Vengan, cantemos al Señor con júbilo! Aclamaremos a la roca de nuestra salvación.

2 Let us enter His presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to Him in song.

2 Vayamos ante él con corazón agradecido. Cantémosle salmos de alabanza.

3 For the LORD is a great God, a great King above all gods.

3 Porque el Señor es un gran Dios, el gran Rey de todos los dioses.

4 In His hand are the depths of the earth, and the mountain peaks belong to Him.

4 En sus manos están los abismos de la tierra, suyas son las cumbres de los montes.

5 The sea is His, for He made it, and His hands formed the dry land.

5 Suyo es el mar porque él lo hizo; con sus manos formó la tierra firme.

6 O come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the LORD our Maker.

6 Vamos, arrodillémonos ante el Señor nuestro hacedor,

7 For He is our God, and we are the people of His pasture, the sheep under His care. Today, if you hear His voice,

7 porque él es nuestro Dios. Nosotros somos el pueblo al que él vigila, ovejas de su rebaño a las que cuida. ¡Ah, que hoy escucharan ustedes su llamado y acudieran a él!

8 do not harden your hearts as you did at Meribah, in the day at Massah in the wilderness,

8 No endurezcan su corazón como lo hizo Israel en el desierto, en Meribá y Masá.

9 where your fathers tested and tried Me, though they had seen My work.

9 Porque allí sus padres dudaron de mí y me pusieron a prueba, a pesar de haber visto mis obras. ¡Cómo abusaron de mi paciencia con sus quejas!

10 For forty years I was angry with that generation, and I said, “They are a people whose hearts go astray, and they have not known My ways.”

10 «Cuarenta años estuve enojado con ellos, y dije: “Son un pueblo cuyo corazón está muy lejos de mí. No quieren hacer lo que les digo”.

11 So I swore on oath in My anger, “They shall never enter My rest.”

11 Así que, en mi enojo, hice un juramento: “Jamás entrarán en mi reposo”».
