Isaiah 24

1 Behold, the LORD lays waste the earth and leaves it in ruins. He will twist its surface and scatter its inhabitants—

1 看啊，耶和华必摧毁大地， 使大地荒凉。 祂毁坏地面，驱散万民。

2 people and priest alike, servant and master, maid and mistress, buyer and seller, lender and borrower, creditor and debtor.

2 那时，祭司和百姓， 主人和仆人， 主母和婢女， 买的和卖的， 贷的和借的， 债主和债户都必遭难。

3 The earth will be utterly laid waste and thoroughly plundered. For the LORD has spoken this word.

3 大地必被完全毁坏，洗劫一空。 这是耶和华说的。

4 The earth mourns and withers; the world languishes and fades; the exalted of the earth waste away.

4 大地枯竭凋零， 世界衰败没落， 世上的权贵也败落。

5 The earth is defiled by its people; they have transgressed the laws; they have overstepped the decrees and broken the everlasting covenant.

5 大地被世人玷污， 他们干犯律法， 不守律例，背弃永远的约。

6 Therefore a curse has consumed the earth, and its inhabitants must bear the guilt; the earth’s dwellers have been burned, and only a few survive.

6 所以咒诅必吞噬大地， 世人必因罪而受惩罚。 他们必被焚烧， 所剩无几。

7 The new wine dries up, the vine withers. All the merrymakers now groan.

7 葡萄树枯萎，新酒枯竭， 欢乐的人都发出悲叹。

8 The joyful tambourines have ceased; the noise of revelers has stopped; the joyful harp is silent.

8 愉快的鼓声止息， 悦耳的琴音消失， 宴乐的喧闹不复听闻。

9 They no longer sing and drink wine; strong drink is bitter to those who consume it.

9 再没有人对酒高歌， 浓酒变得苦涩。

10 The city of chaos is shattered; every house is closed to entry.

10 毁坏的城一片荒凉， 家家房门紧闭，无人能进。

11 In the streets they cry out for wine. All joy turns to gloom; rejoicing is exiled from the land.

11 人们因无酒而在街上喊叫； 一切欢乐变作哀愁， 地上喜乐不复存在。

12 The city is left in ruins; its gate is reduced to rubble.

12 城里一片荒凉， 城门被撞成碎片。

13 So will it be on the earth and among the nations, like a harvested olive tree, like a gleaning after a grape harvest.

13 世上万民必所剩无几， 像打过的橄榄树， 又如摘过的葡萄树。

14 They raise their voices, they shout for joy; from the west they proclaim the majesty of the LORD.

14 劫后余生的人必高声欢呼， 在西方赞美耶和华的威严。

15 Therefore glorify the LORD in the east. Extol the name of the LORD, the God of Israel in the islands of the sea.

15 因此，要在东方尊崇耶和华， 要在众海岛赞美以色列的上帝耶和华的名。

16 From the ends of the earth we hear singing: “Glory to the Righteous One.” But I said, “I am wasting away! I am wasting away! Woe is me.” The treacherous betray; the treacherous deal in treachery.

16 我们听见从地极传来歌唱声： “荣耀归给公义者。” 我说：“我完了！ 我完了！我有祸了！ 因为诡诈的行事诡诈， 诡诈的行事极其诡诈。”

17 Terror and pit and snare await you, O dweller of the earth.

17 世人啊！ 恐怖、陷阱和网罗要临到你们。

18 Whoever flees the sound of panic will fall into the pit, and whoever climbs from the pit will be caught in the snare. For the windows of heaven are open, and the foundations of the earth are shaken.

18 逃避恐怖的必掉进陷阱， 爬出陷阱的必被网罗缠住。 天上的水闸开启， 大地的根基摇动。

19 The earth is utterly broken apart, the earth is split open, the earth is shaken violently.

19 大地崩溃、撕裂，剧烈震动。

20 The earth staggers like a drunkard and sways like a shack. Earth’s rebellion weighs it down, and it falls, never to rise again.

20 大地像醉汉东摇西晃， 又像暴风中的茅屋摇来摆去。 它被沉重的罪恶压垮， 再也无法起来。

21 In that day the LORD will punish the host of heaven above and the kings of the earth below.

21 到那日，耶和华必在天上惩罚天上的众权能者， 在地上惩罚地上的君王。

22 They will be gathered together like prisoners in a pit. They will be confined to a dungeon and punished after many days.

22 他们必像囚犯一样被聚在一起， 关在牢里，囚在狱中， 多日之后必受惩罚。

23 The moon will be confounded and the sun will be ashamed; for the LORD of Hosts will reign on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem, and before His elders with great glory.

23 那时，月亮必大惊失色， 太阳必羞愧无光， 因为万军之耶和华必在锡安山， 在耶路撒冷掌权， 在祂子民的长老面前彰显荣耀。
