Psalms 28

1 Of David. To You, O LORD, I call; be not deaf to me, O my Rock. For if You remain silent, I will be like those descending to the Pit.

1 याहवेह, मैं आपको पुकार रहा हूं; आप मेरी सुरक्षा की चट्टान हैं, मेरी अनसुनी न कीजिए. कहीं ऐसा न हो कि आपके प्रत्युत्तर न देने पर मैं उनके समान हो जाऊं, जो मृतक लोक में उतर रहे हैं.

2 Hear my cry for mercy when I call to You for help, when I lift up my hands toward Your holy sanctuary.

2 जब मैं परम पवित्र स्थान की ओर अपने हाथ उठाऊं, जब मैं सहायता के लिए आपको पुकारूं, तो मेरी पुकार सुन लीजिए.

3 Do not drag me away with the wicked, and with the workers of iniquity, who speak peace to their neighbors while malice is in their hearts.

3 दुष्टों के लिए निर्धारित दंड में मुझे सम्मिलित न कीजिए, वे अधर्म करते रहते हैं, पड़ोसियों के साथ उनका वार्तालाप अत्यंत मेल-मिलाप का होता है किंतु उनके हृदय में उनके लिए बुराई की युक्तियां ही उपजती रहती हैं.

4 Repay them according to their deeds and for their works of evil. Repay them for what their hands have done; bring back on them what they deserve.

4 उन्हें उनके आचरण के अनुकूल ही प्रतिफल दीजिए, उन्होंने जो कुछ किया है बुराई की है; उन्हें उनके सभी कार्यों के अनुरूप दंड दीजिए, उन्हें वही दंड दीजिए, जिसके वे अधिकारी हैं.

5 Since they show no regard for the works of the LORD or what His hands have done, He will tear them down and never rebuild them.

5 क्योंकि याहवेह के महाकार्य का, याहवेह की कृतियों के लिए ही, उनकी दृष्टि में कोई महत्व नहीं! याहवेह उन्हें नष्ट कर देंगे, इस रीति से कि वे कभी उठ न पाएंगे.

6 Blessed be the LORD, for He has heard my cry for mercy.

6 याहवेह का स्तवन हो, उन्होंने सहायता के लिए मेरी पुकार सुन ली है.

7 The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in Him, and I am helped. Therefore my heart rejoices, and I give thanks to Him with my song.

7 याहवेह मेरा बल एवं मेरी ढाल हैं; उन पर ही मेरा भरोसा है, उन्होंने मेरी सहायता की है. मेरा हृदय हर्षोल्लास में उछल रहा है, मैं अपने गीत के द्वारा उनके लिए आभार व्यक्त करूंगा.

8 The LORD is the strength of His people, a stronghold of salvation for His anointed.

8 याहवेह अपनी प्रजा का बल हैं, अपने अभिषिक्त के लिए उद्धार का दृढ़ गढ़ हैं.

9 Save Your people and bless Your inheritance; shepherd them and carry them forever.

9 आप अपनी मीरास को उद्धार प्रदान कीजिए और उसे आशीष दीजिए; उनके चरवाहा होकर उन्हें सदा-सर्वदा संभालते रहिए.
