| BSB 1 O LORD, God of vengeance, O God of vengeance, shine forth. | SVD 1 يَا إِلَهَ ٱلنَّقَمَاتِ يَارَبُّ، يَا إِلَهَ ٱلنَّقَمَاتِ، أَشْرِقِ. |
| BSB 2 Rise up, O Judge of the earth; render a reward to the proud. | SVD 2 ٱرْتَفِعْ يَا دَيَّانَ ٱلْأَرْضِ. جَازِ صَنِيعَ ٱلْمُسْتَكْبِرِينَ. |
| BSB 3 How long will the wicked, O LORD, how long will the wicked exult? | SVD 3 حَتَّى مَتَى ٱلْخُطَاةُ يَارَبُّ، حَتَّى مَتَى ٱلْخُطَاةُ يَشْمَتُونَ؟ |
| BSB 4 They pour out arrogant words; all workers of iniquity boast. | SVD 4 يُبِقُّونَ، يَتَكَلَّمُونَ بِوَقَاحَةٍ. كُلُّ فَاعِلِي ٱلْإِثْمِ يَفْتَخِرُونَ. |
| BSB 5 They crush Your people, O LORD; they oppress Your heritage. | SVD 5 يَسْحَقُونَ شَعْبَكَ يَارَبُّ، وَيُذِلُّونَ مِيرَاثَكَ. |
| BSB 6 They kill the widow and the foreigner; they murder the fatherless. | SVD 6 يَقْتُلُونَ ٱلْأَرْمَلَةَ وَٱلْغَرِيبَ، وَيُمِيتُونَ ٱلْيَتِيمَ. |
| BSB 7 They say, “The LORD does not see; the God of Jacob pays no heed.” | SVD 7 وَيَقُولُونَ: «ٱلرَّبُّ لَا يُبْصِرُ، وَإِلَهُ يَعْقُوبَ لَا يُلَاحِظُ». |
| BSB 8 Take notice, O senseless among the people! O fools, when will you be wise? | SVD 8 اِفْهَمُوا أَيُّهَا ٱلْبُلَدَاءُ فِي ٱلشَّعْبِ، وَيَا جُهَلَاءُ مَتَى تَعْقِلُونَ؟ |
| BSB 9 He who affixed the ear, can He not hear? He who formed the eye, can He not see? | SVD 9 ٱلْغَارِسُ ٱلْأُذُنِ أَلَا يَسْمَعُ؟ ٱلصَّانِعُ ٱلْعَيْنَ أَلَا يُبْصِرُ؟ |
| BSB 10 He who admonishes the nations, does He not discipline? He who teaches man, does He lack knowledge? | SVD 10 ٱلْمُؤَدِّبُ ٱلْأُمَمَ أَلَا يُبَكِّتُ؟ ٱلْمُعَلِّمُ ٱلْإِنْسَانَ مَعْرِفَةً. |
| BSB 11 The LORD knows the thoughts of man, that they are futile. | SVD 11 ٱلرَّبُّ يَعْرِفُ أَفْكَارَ ٱلْإِنْسَانِ أَنَّهَا بَاطِلَةٌ. |
| BSB 12 Blessed is the man You discipline, O LORD, and teach from Your law, | SVD 12 طُوبَى لِلرَّجُلِ ٱلَّذِي تُؤَدِّبُهُ يَارَبُّ، وَتُعَلِّمُهُ مِنْ شَرِيعَتِكَ |
| BSB 13 to grant him relief from days of trouble, until a pit is dug for the wicked. | SVD 13 لِتُرِيحَهُ مِنْ أَيَّامِ ٱلشَّرِّ، حَتَّى تُحْفَرَ لِلشِّرِّيرِ حُفْرَةٌ. |
| BSB 14 For the LORD will not forsake His people; He will never abandon His heritage. | SVD 14 لِأَنَّ ٱلرَّبَّ لَا يَرْفُضُ شَعْبَهُ، وَلَا يَتْرُكُ مِيرَاثَهُ. |
| BSB 15 Surely judgment will again be righteous, and all the upright in heart will follow it. | SVD 15 لِأَنَّهُ إِلَى ٱلْعَدْلِ يَرْجِعُ ٱلْقَضَاءُ، وَعَلَى أَثَرِهِ كُلُّ مُسْتَقِيمِي ٱلْقُلُوبِ. |
| BSB 16 Who will rise up for me against the wicked? Who will stand for me against the workers of iniquity? | SVD 16 مَنْ يَقُومُ لِي عَلَى ٱلْمُسِيئِينَ؟ مَنْ يَقِفُ لِي ضِدَّ فَعَلَةِ ٱلْإِثْمِ؟ |
| BSB 17 Unless the LORD had been my helper, I would soon have dwelt in the abode of silence. | SVD 17 لَوْلَا أَنَّ ٱلرَّبَّ مُعِينِي، لَسَكَنَتْ نَفْسِي سَرِيعًا أَرْضَ ٱلسُّكُوتِ. |
| BSB 18 If I say, “My foot is slipping,” Your loving devotion, O LORD, supports me. | SVD 18 إِذْ قُلْتُ: «قَدْ زَلَّتْ قَدَمِي» فَرَحْمَتُكَ يَارَبُّ تَعْضُدُنِي. |
| BSB 19 When anxiety overwhelms me, Your consolation delights my soul. | SVD 19 عِنْدَ كَثْرَةِ هُمُومِي فِي دَاخِلِي، تَعْزِيَاتُكَ تُلَذِّذُ نَفْسِي. |
| BSB 20 Can a corrupt throne be Your ally—one devising mischief by decree? | SVD 20 هَلْ يُعَاهِدُكَ كُرْسِيُّ ٱلْمَفَاسِدِ، ٱلْمُخْتَلِقُ إِثْمًا عَلَى فَرِيضَةٍ؟ |
| BSB 21 They band together against the righteous and condemn the innocent to death. | SVD 21 يَزْدَحِمُونَ عَلَى نَفْسِ ٱلصِّدِّيقِ، وَيَحْكُمُونَ عَلَى دَمٍ زَكِيٍّ. |
| BSB 22 But the LORD has been my stronghold, and my God is my rock of refuge. | SVD 22 فَكَانَ ٱلرَّبُّ لِي صَرْحًا، وَإِلَهِي صَخْرَةَ مَلْجَإِي. |
| BSB 23 He will bring upon them their own iniquity and destroy them for their wickedness. The LORD our God will destroy them. | SVD 23 وَيَرُدُّ عَلَيْهِمْ إِثْمَهُمْ، وَبِشَرِّهِمْ يُفْنِيهِمْ. يُفْنِيهِمُ ٱلرَّبُّ إِلَهُنَا. |
