| BSB 1 For the choirmaster. According to Jeduthun. A Psalm of David. In God alone my soul finds rest; my salvation comes from Him. | NAV 1 انْتَظَرَتْ نَفْسِي اللهَ وَحْدَهُ. مِنْ لَدُنِهِ يَأْتِي خَلاصِي. |
| BSB 2 He alone is my rock and my salvation. He is my fortress; I will never be shaken. | NAV 2 هُوَ وَحْدَهُ صَخْرَتِي وَخَلاصِي وَحِصْنِي الْمَنِيعُ، لِذَلِكَ لَا أَتَزَعْزَعُ أَبَداً. |

Selah | NAV 4 إِنَّمَا يَتَآمَرُونَ كَيْ يُطِيحُوا بِهِ عَنْ مَكَانَتِهِ الرَّفِيعَةِ، مُبْتَهِجِينَ بِالْكَذِبِ: يُبَارِكُونَ بِأَفْوَاهِهِمْ وَيَلْعَنُونَ بِقُلُوبِهِمْ. |

Weighed on the scale, they go up; together they are but a vapor. | NAV 9 لَيْسَ الْبَشَرُ جَمِيعاً، عُظَمَاءُ وَأَدْنِيَاءُ، سِوَى بَاطِلٍ وَوَهْمٍ. إنْ وَضَعْتَهُمْ فِي كَفَّةِ مِيزَانٍ لَا يَزِنُونَ شَيْئاً. إِنَّهُمْ أَخَفُّ مِنْ نَسَمَةٍ. |
